The approximate duration is 40-45 minutes, can vary the interest and the
number of visitors.
Provides the vision of the area of acceptance of the grapes, de-stemming
and crushing (operations that can be seen live during the harvest period,
from early October until the end of the month), departments of
fermentation of the grapes and the wine ageing in concrete and steel
tanks and oak barrels impressive space containing a large capacity,
barriques and tonneaux. Will conclude with the bottling department,
which will illustrate the various stages that compose it.
The visit to the winery is free.
The winery visits can be carried out by prior arrangement by phone or mail, every day during the
opening hours of the place of business: Monday to Thursday from 08.00 to 20.00, on Fridays,
Saturdays and Sundays from 09.00 to 21.00.

TASTINGS
Tastings Wine production will be held at the WINE BAR for
small groups up to 30 people or for larger groups, in this
prestigious exhibition event at the headquarters of the Casa
Vinicola Pietro Nera in Chiuro.
There are several possibilities of tasting:
Tasting of 2 wines of our production, branded IGT Terrazze Retiche di
Sondrio and Valtellina Superiore DOCG:
€ 5.00 each person;
Tasting of 3 wines of our production, branded IGT Terrazze Retiche di
Sondrio, DOC Rosso di Valtellina and Valtellina Superiore DOCG:
€ 8.00 each person;
Tasting of 4 wines of our production, branded IGT Terrazze Retiche di
Sondrio, Valtellina Superiore DOCG Valtellina Superiore DOCG "Reserve" and
Sforzato Valtellina DOCG Pietro Nera:
€ 12.00 each person;
Tasting of 5 wines of our production, branded IGT Terrazze Retiche di

In conjunction with each tasting will be offered tastings of local cold cuts
and cheeses, as well as local bakery.

VISITS TO THE VINEYARDS
On request Casa Vinicola Pietro Nera offers a visit to some
vineyards owned by the Company, located in the subproduction of Valtellina Superiore DOCG. In particular, we will
visit, with trips to the vineyards (a few kilometers from the
business) from its own resources, the following vineyards:
LOCALITÀ WINEYARDS, in the town of Tresivio (subarea Valtellina Superiore
DOCG Inferno), accessible by any bus, lasting approximately 45-60 minutes:
€ 30 each group;
CARMINE WINEYARDS, in the town of Poggiridenti (subarea Valtellina
Superiore DOCG Inferno), accessible by any bus, lasting approximately 60-90
minutes:
€ 30 each group;
CAVEN DEI MORELLI WINEYARDS, near Teglio (subarea Valtellina Superiore
DOCG Valgella), reachable by bus from small up to 25 people, lasting
approximately 90-120 minutes:
€ 50 each group.

CORNER VALTELLINA SHOP
The commercial headquarters is located in Chiuro (SO)
directly on the main road of the Stelvio, and is equipped to
accommodate tourists in the best way "gourmet", thanks to a
wine bar and a farm shop, including Valtellina Corner, where
you can taste and discover the great wines of the Wine House
Casa Vinicola Pietro Nera and the Azienda Agricola Caven
accompained by the typical products of the Valtellina, where
the cheese DOP Bitto and Casera, Bresaola di Valtellina IGP,
Pizzoccheri and all the other flavors of this rich land.
