Introduction
What is the purpose of PC Angel Recovery?
PC Angel Recovery SoftThinks helps you resolve problems you may encounter with
your computer, using functions of backup and recovery.
1. To start PC Angel Recovery SoftThinks, click "PC Angel" from the windows
Desktop Windows, or click the PC Angel from office.

It may happen sometimes you have problems with Windows.
To solve most problems, you can try to make
a system recovery.
Can I save my files before the recovery?
Yes, you will be given the option of recovering your system
What happens during the system recovery?
First, if you have chosen to save your files before start the recovery
process begins by Backup files and folders.
Then, the process will continue with the formatting of your hard
drive.
The final step in the relocation of the contents of your
computer (operating system + programs installed at the factory
drivers originally installed).
To access the recovery:
SoftThinks System Recovery is a protected area of your
hard drive. You must restart your computer to access it.

On the PcAngel welcome page click on <start>

On second window , click on <Restore>
on the <Restore> Windows click on <System recovery>

Once on « restore » windows click on « System Recovery »

Then click on « Reboot » to access to the recovery partition .

On the next screen select « Troubleshoot »

select « PC Angel Recovery »

Cliquez sur « Restore », puis « system recovery »
Click on start , restore menu and click « system Recovery »
Choose « windows recovery if you want to delete only the system partition or
select « full recovery »: the entire hard drive will be wiped

Click on the corresponding restoration media .

Then Select the point in time backup

Click on « continue » the recovery process are going to start.

Your recovery is finish so click on OK and your PC reboot to freshly installed
Windows
What should I do to get my data before recovering my system?

It is possible to make a backup of your data before running the system restore
process. Many opportunities are available to you to protect or select different types of
files.

Click on « File & Folder Backup »

Give a name to your future personal backup à in the field « Backup name »,
then click on « Sources files ».

It is possible to select the files to backup in two ways, the first is an automatic
selection according to predefined categories of files. Click on each category
for the types of files you want to save.

You can also select the files directly, for this click on "browse disks", and then
manually select the files.

Once your files are selected, click "backup destination", choose a destination
folder for your data, it can be a USB flash drive or a network location.

Finally, click Backup option to set rules for your backup. You can specify a
password, and exclude a number of extensions as you want.

To manually add extensions to exclude, click "add files extensions.

When everything is configured correctly you can click "create my backup" and
the creative process will start
What should I do to get back my drivers and apps?
In the first PcAngel window, go to <restore> part

Click on <apps and drivers>
If you click on <device driver>, it will show the drivers you can install on your system

You can select one and click on start for installation….
At the end:
Click on finish.
For applications: you use the same menu: click on start, <restore>, push <apps and
drivers>

You click on <applications> button
You will see all installed applications on your system
You can select the application you want to reinstall and click <start>

How do I create recovery discs?
For that process, click on <start>, go to backup menu
Click on “recovery media”
Usable device will be appears ( dvd , dvd dl , usb key)

Select the one you want to burn and click “start creation now “
The device will be burn and CRC verification will be start after.
In case of USB, warning message for loss data preventing

Click on <yes >
After Burning , Pcangel do a CRC check of media ( USB or DVD)
Finally in case of success
After Burning , a CRC checking is done

How do I create Applications and Drivers recovery discs?
Go to <start> , backup menu
Click on “Apps & drivers Burn”

Select the media (only cd , DVD and DVD dl) and start creation now , the process
zwll follow the same steps ( burning and CRC checking)
What should I do to restore my data backup ?
In Pc Angel go to <START>, go to Restore Menu

Then click on “file and folder restore”
Select your backup you want to recover and select Open
Pcangel show the treeview of your backup, select file you want to recover (click on
the file ) and click on restore”
