The brands gathering at MOMAD Shoes focus on sport, drawing inspiration from running, and present rope sandals, canvas slippers and sneakers for the most casual times, but without forgetting the elegant and stylish offerings such as platforms, heels, wedges, ankle boots, loungers, espadrilles and stilettos for special occasions. The offerings particularly include the fusion of materials such as rubber or jute soles, applications and textures, pleated models, cork and natural leather combined with a large variety of shapes to adapt to each foot. In luminous, cheerful tones and bright colours such as mustard yellow, parrot green, intense blue and coral, they contrast with other offerings in earth tones, pastels, sky blues and silvers finished in glitter, gloss, prints and metallised, which give the chic touch and distinction to the most innovative offerings. Chika10, now celebrating its tenth anniversary, is decanting in its next collection for a product with personality: young, amusing and fashionable. Designs and materials inspired by ethnic atmospheres transferred to wedges and jute espadrilles, decorated with tassels, fringes and colourful tapes. Original and functional shoes in earth tones, pastels and black. Their offerings range from the sports style so much in fashion in recent seasons, with slippers and volumes in mesh and neoprene, to the most striking shoes in metallised finishes and glitter. The new offers also include denim, which is transferred from clothes to footwear to give a relaxed touch with shreds, loops and patchwork. The collection’s rock trend gives it a bolder air with metal studs and eyelets. Black, nude and red are the main colours, while metallised elements take their usual pride of place. Lace‐up shoes take the lead in summer 2017 with jute, lounger and stiletto versions. Offerings in a wide variety of shapes adapting to every time of the day: wedges, platforms, boots, sandals and pumps in different Helena Valera materials such as textiles, leather, cowhide, cork and split leather.
