with half a dozen people, light stands, softboxes and other
gear.

FLAUNT IT IF YOU GOT IT!
Part time model, part time student,
full time employee, this workaholic spares some of her precious
time for a racy photo shoot. Cute
and pretty, Karen Apple Estrada,
shows off her youthful shapely figure in this Photo7 exclusive pictorial.
Being the only daughter, Karen admits
to being spoiled by her family but does
not allow herself to be complacent. She
has proved to her family and herself
that she is self sufficient and hard working by putting herself thru a semester
in Mindanao University of Science and
Technology. She is currently taking a 2
year break from her studies to work and
save up to go back to school. Karen's
confidence and self-worth is accentuated when her parents proudly speaks
of her to their friends and family.
Karen credits her long-time boyfriend
for helping her cope with the pressures
and struggles in her life. She credits the
success of their relationship to her boyfriend also being her best friend. She
is forever grateful for his companionship and support in everything she does.

What's something you did
that made your parents proud of you?
Karen:I worked at Jollibee for a
year to pay for my first year of college.

How
did
you
find
it?
Karen: It was hard. Start work early in the morning, then classes after
work, then another shift after classes.
Photo7: What turned you on to modeling?
Karen: I love fashion. I'm a fashionista. I love to dress like in the modern
Korean style. I love to wear fitted dresses
just to show the curves of my body even
if I don't have the nicest boobs. I also
love make-up, shoes and accessories. I
love having my picture taken and its fun.

Who
inspires
you?
Karen: I actually love pinay actresses but
for Hollywood I know a few of them. I
like Kristine Stewart, she has an angelic
face and she's cute whenever she bite her
lower lip and her Twilight movies were really a big hit at the cinemas. For the sexiest body, I'll go for Megan Fox. She's
sexy and sensual, I like her Jennifer's Body
movie. Pinay actress, well she is not an actress but she is a cosplay goddess, Alodia
Almira Gosiengfiao. I like her face, she
looks like a doll, her eyes are big because of
circle lenses and she's sexy also. I've tried
cosplay but the costumes are too expensive and I can't afford them. Also, I love
the sexiness of Kristine Reyes and Angel
Locsin. Both are pretty and incredible hot.

made
you
decide to do this type of photo shoot?
Karen: I want to add to my portfolio
and someday when I'm old, I can look
at it and reminisce my younger years.
Photo7: What do you think your best asset is?
Karen: My best assets are my eyes and
my body. Lots of people ask if I'm Chinese, Japanese or Korean because my
eyes are chinita but my parents are pure
Filipinos. Even though I don't have
the required height to be a model, I still
manage to stay slim. People have commented about my body even though I don't
work out even if I am working at a gym.

do
you
maintain
your figure without working out?
Karen: My secret is diet! I eat a little but if I'm hungry I eat a lot but first
thing in the morning I drink my milk
and for dinner I eat not beyond 5PM
because it might not digest properly.

about
yourself.
Karen: I am funny yet serious type of
girl. Funny whenever I’m with my friends,
serious in a relationship. Some of my
friends had the first impression of me
like ma-arte, mean and hard to get along
with but when they got to know me better they found me funny and lovable. I
love my friends because they’re with me
through good and bad times. But the
best friend I ever had is my boyfriend.

about
him.
Karen: He is everything I need, a friend,
a lover, a listener, a guardian, an advisor and
he never fails to make me feel that I am
not alone. He has been my lover since high
school. It’s funny to reminisce those times
and I never thought that we would go this
far. We’ve been together almost 7 years. I
can't find anything wrong about him because I'm wrapped by his love and my love
for him. He might not be that perfect but
I love his imperfection. I don’t love him because he loves me too but I can’t explain
the feeling that I have for him whenever
he is near or we hang out. He has a nice
sense of humor that whenever we are together I laugh so hard and I love it. I don’t
have to pretend to be someone else for
him to love me. As we grow each year, he
has seen me at my worst and at my best.

Karen: For me, love is doing the impossible and crazy things that you’ve never tried
in your whole life. Also grown up together without pretention and must include
him/ her in your ambitious life. Life is
too short so live like there is no tomorrow.

Did I hear that correctly, you guys are lovers, intimate?
Karen: Yes we are intimate. I'm his first
girlfriend and he is my first boyfriend so together we explore what we want. I give him
everything that I can possibly give because I
won't let him find what he want from other girls knowing I can give him more.

What
are
your
principles in life to become a better person?
Karen:I'm always thinking about
it. "Who are you to judge the way I
live? I am not perfect and I don't have
to be. Before you start pointing fingers,
make sure your hands are clean." That's
from Bob Marley and it makes sense
to me. Nobody goes through their
life without doing something stupid.
