75TH ANNIVERSARY
This Sunday, September 27, we will celebrate the 75th anniversary of Geyer Springs First Baptist
Church! Here are all of the details you need for the day:
• We will meet for one service at 9:30 a.m. (Please arrive early and in one car if possible.)
• A free church-wide lunch will follow. (Bring a lawn chair or blanket.)
• Sanders Hall will be set up with pictures and memorabilia.
• You will have an opportunity to tour and pray over our new building addition!
• There will be no evening service this Sunday.
We are looking forward to this great day of celebrating how God has used Geyer Springs for
seventy-five years and looking forward to how He will continue to use us for His glory!
HISTORY BOOK

We have compiled a book that highlights the exciting ways that God has moved at Geyer
Springs since 1940! Each book will cost $10, and the proceeds will go toward purchasing
indoor playground equipment for the new building! You may purchase a book Sunday in
Sanders Hall or at the church-wide lunch.

"25 Years 4HIM - A Night of Celebration" will be Friday, October 16 at Geyer
Springs! Tickets are on sale now at www.gsfbc.org/4him or in the church office
during the week. Ticket prices are listed below.
General Admission: $25 ($18 at the church office for GSFBC members)
Groups of 10+: $18
Groups of 10+ receive 1 free ticket.

Network is a three week class designed to help you discover your spiritual gifts, personal style, and ministry passions.
Following the class all participants will be paired with coaches to help them discern some service options inside the church
and/or outside in our community that best fit each person’s unique servant profile.

INDIA MISSION TRIP MEETING
If you are planning on going to India in January, please attend a meeting Sunday,
October 4 at 5:00 p.m. in the Upstairs Conference Room. Please bring your passport,
driver’s license, insurance card, and $500 deposit.
We are still looking for people to join this team! The total trip cost is $2700, but
please do not let finances determine whether or not you go. Contact Pastor Dave at

COMPASSION KIT PACKING PARTY
Help us pack 1000 Compassion Kits for India! These boxes of
small gifts will help open the door for our January mission team to
share the gospel with thousands of people.
The packing party will be Sunday, October 11 at 4:00 p.m. in
Sanders Hall. We would love as many people as possible to be a
part of this event. So bring your children – it will be fun for your
entire family!
OTTER CREEK ELEMENTARY ENCOURAGERS NEEDED
Our Otter Creek Elementary Encouragers Program is looking for Encouragers for the 2015-2016 school year. An
Encourager meets with two children for thirty minutes each on Wednesdays from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Otter
Creek Elementary to encourage them and to help them wherever they may be struggling. No experience or
preparation is necessary, just a heart to minister to children by being a stable, Christian influence in their lives. If
