How is HomeGuard installed?
What is HomeGuard?
• HomeGuard is installed during your home’s construction and sealed
permanently to the foundations of the building. e.g. under/in slab and in
the perimeter wall cavity.
HomeGuard is a physical and chemical termite management system.
It is a single layer extruded polymer sheet product that is homogeneously
impregnated with Biflex (Bifenthrin) termiticide.
What makes HomeGuard a cost

The HomeGuard range is suitable for a wide range of building designs
and includes:

• Because it is a single-installation product, the installation of HomeGuard
fits seamlessly within the construction process;
• Underlay of slab and retaining walls (TMB)

• Damp proof course and perimeter wall cavity
sheets (DPC)
• In many cases, HomeGuard sheeting serves a dual purpose both as an
subterranean termite barrier and is a BCA compliant moisture barrier,

FMC HomeGuard One million dollar
25 year warranty
The FMC HomeGuard warranty is a no-nonsense, simple warranty
covering all structural and decorative timbers that are protected by a
HomeGuard termite management system. The HomeGuard termite
management system must be installed by a FMC HomeGuard Accredited
Operator. The 25 year, $1,000,000 warranty is conditional on an annual
inspection of the property at the home owners expense. Other conditions
apply; (Refer to warranty document for full terms and conditions).
