BUDGET CUTS THREATEN TRANSPORTATION TO CATHOLIC SCHOOLS Currently, towns are obligated to provide transportation to our Catholic schools. The current budget threatens this mandatory obligation of boards of education to provide safe transportation services. The budget under discussion threatens this obligation, which will result in a significant burden to our schools. It is imperative that Catholics unite and call the Governor and the leaders of the Senate and the House in order to protect, preserve, and restore safe transportation for our Catholic schools. Here are phone numbers to call: Gov Dannel Malloy 800-406-1527 Sen. Martin Looney 860-240-8614 Rep. Brendan Sharkey, 860-240-8541 “Please restore and protect mandatory, safe, and reliable transportation services for our Catholic school children. Our schools save the state $420 million.” ***************************************** ST ANTHONY ITALIAN FESTIVAL 2016 June 8-11, 2016, Church Grounds, 111 School St. Wednesday-Saturday hours 5-10pm Join us for great food, live entertainment, amusements, etc. For more information call (860) 583-1349 or visit our website: www.stanthonybristolct.org May 22, 2016 Offertory $8,542.50 THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT OF YOUR PARISH.
