All pilots shall avoid air taxing over any surface which h a s
any debris or litter which may b e ingested into the main or
tail rotors.
Smoking during preflight and refueling is prohibited. In c a s e
of fire inflight or on the ground refer to section 3 Emergency
Procedures of the Robinson R22 Operating Handbook.
In the event of a precautionary landing or a landing at a nonprogrammed airport, students should notify Volar Helicopters
as' soon a s
practical. Call m - 7 7 6 - 2 0 7 5 for further
instruc!tions, talk to any flight I n s t r u c t o r . I f no answer k e e p
trying. The pilot in command is responsihLe for the a i r c r a f t
until released by someone from Volar Helicopters.
Each pilot shall check the squawk sheet prior to each flight.
All discrepancies shall be r e c o r d 4 in the appropriate manner
on the squawk sheet.
Securing of aircraft when not in u s e , will be a t t h e
direction and discretion of the flight instructor.
A fuel reserve of 30 minutes is required on all cross countr-y
and solo flight.
S o l o flights will be within a 50 mile radius of FT LAUDERDALE
Executive airport unless approves! otherwise by VOLAR.
Pilots will n o t fly at an altitude less than 500 ft. above the
h i g h e s t obstacle unless necessary for takeoff and landings.
Avoidance of other aircraft in flight and on ground will
abided by as outlined in part 91 of Federal Aviation
Re-j.iil;ttions, Subpart B, 91.65, 3: . 6 7 , and 91.69.

The following maneuvers will not be practiced unless a flight

A . Autorotative descents
B. Hovering autorotations
C . Forced landing procedures
E . Settling with power
E. Recovery from low rotor RPM
F. Recovery from low G conditions
A VFR flight plan must be filed with Volar helicopters for a l l
s o ! o c r o s s country flights. All day cross c o u n t r y flights m u s t
t e m i n a t e 1/2 hour prior to su.nset.

his/her students are on s o l o flights unless they are flying
wi t h other students.

After 10 hours of flight time or 30 days, renter will be rechecked by a Volar flight

500 foot minimum altitude over land and water except during takeoff and landings.
Renter will familiarize him or herselfwith arrival and departure procedures in and out of
FXE.
No practice autorotations of any kind unless accompanied by a Volar flight instructor.
Renter will follow additional rules stated in Volar Helicopters Rental agreement.
Renter will abide by Volar Helicopters school safety procedures.
No commercial use.
Volar Helicopters reserves the right to deny anyone rental privileges.
