This class will cover the basics of navigating Google Drive, and using Google Docs to manage, share, and print documents. $39 This two-semester 150-hour course includes a review of High School Equivalency Exam subject areas (Language Arts, Social Studies, Science and Math) and assistance in test taking strategies. Students will be assessed in reading comprehension, math, and writing at the first class meeting, which is required. Enrollment is limited to provide individualized attention. Those who are missing more than two years of high school should contact the Dean of Community Services at 552-2324. Individuals 17 years of age or younger must provide official high school documentation indicating at registration that they are no longer enrolled high school. Discover the basics of jewelry making by learning how to saw, file, texture, and solder either silver or copper into a wearable piece of jewelry. Focusing on bezel setting, you will make a simple pendant using either a beach pebble, beach glass, or pottery shard. A materials fee of $30 will be payable to the instructor at first class. Come and make silver jewelry without hammering or soldering! PMC® (Precious Metal Clay ®) is a clay-like material made of extremely tiny particles of pure silver. By getting in touch with our desire to express the music, even people who have never danced before will discover their ability to communicate through their bodies. You will learn the essential skills of dancing tango socially at “Milongas” (Tango dance parties, which happen all over the world!), including how to ask for a dance using the “cabaceo,” an invitation with your eyes!
