The plug and play and easily swappable payloads without the use of any tools allows the user to select different payloads for a multitude of missions and many combinations of both. The ability to fly EO, IR, or both at the same time is critical depending on mission requirements. With the ability to use EO and IR at the same time, you can look at heat signatures to find and detect personnel hiding in vegetation or behind some barriers, then, switch to EO on the fly and verify it is the correct target. Without this versatility either sensor is much less effective. Simplicity drives effectiveness. Without simple operation a system can not effectively function as too many mistakes are possible. Our system utilizes an automatic electronic preflight checklist integrated into the GCS that ensures no important steps are missed and gets the Devourer Quadcopter off the ground and on mission safely and effectively.
