Châteauroux: Marseillaise tile model • Siena: Portoguese tile model. A traditional roof tile made with innovative material with a native small pv panel embedded. A solar power panel, made up of four photovoltaic monocrystalline cells of about 10Wp, is installed on the roofing tile with ceramic body mix. The panels are then interconnected to create a real photovoltaic field, which may cover the whole roof and can be as large as required. May 2011 Siena: Portoguese tile model 5 THE SUPPORT: THE CERAMIC ROOF TILE May 2011 6 THE INTEGRATED PV Module TÜV certified in accordance with standards: Cei-EN 61215 Cei-EN 61730-1 / 61730-2 May 2011 7 THE SOLAR TILE: ADVANTAGES • High quality ceramic roof; • BIPV modules: Highest incentive fees in EU; • Perfect architectonical integration; • Outstanding aesthetic features; • Higher performances (Modules lower working temperature); • Unobtrusive • Easy installation and maintenance; • Easy technology upgrade; •New possible applications • Accepted in architectural restricted areas May 2011 8 THE CERAMIC ROOF TILE: ADVANTAGES • High quality ceramic tile (porcelain, long lasting roof); • Frost resistance (1,5-2% water absorption); • Work as a traditional tile; • Anywhere installation; • Available in different colours, shapes and effects; • Easy maintenance and replace; • Faster installation (6,7 pcs per squared meter) • Half- weighted and more resistant than traditional tile May 2011 9 THE MARKET: INCENTIVE RULES (1) ITALY Installation type BIPV Other installations UK Sell‐Back price Feed‐in period 40,2 €c/kWh 37,7 €c/kWh 35,8 €c/kWh 35,5 €c/kWh 35,1 €c/kWh 33,3 €c/kWh 44 €c/kWh 40 €c/kWh 37 €c/kWh 10 €c/kWh 20 years Euro/kWh Sell‐Back Price Feed‐in period N.A. 25 years Capacity in kWp Retrofit New buildings Standalone p ≤4 p ≤4 4 < p < 10 10 < p < 100 100 < p < 5000 any Installation type Capacity in kWp Euro/kWh Sell‐Back price Feed‐in period p ≤ 20 20 < p < 2000 p ≤ 10000 30,4 €c/kWh 21,45 €c/kWh 14,59 €c/kWh N.A. 25 years BIPV Not integrated PV May 2011 Euro/kWh (till 30/04/11) 1<p<3 3 < p < 20 20 < p < 200 200 < p < 1000 1000 < p < 5000 p ≤ 5000 1 < p < 20 20 < p < 200 200 < p < 5000 Installation type Other installations SPAIN Capacity in kWp 41,3 36,1 36,1 31,4 29,3 29,3 10 p/kWh p/kWh p/kWh p/kWh p/kWh p/kWh THE MARKET: INCENTIVE RULES (2) GERMANY Installation type Capacity in kWp Rooftop mounted Ground mounted FRANCE Installation type Simplified Integration BIPV Schools and Hospitals Simplified Integration BIPV Simplified Integration Any Installation May 2011 11 Feed‐in period N.A. 20 years €c/kWh €c/kWh €c/kWh €c/kWh €c/kWh 21,11 €c/kWh p≤9 9 < p < 36 p ≤ 36 36 < p < 100 p≤9 9 < p < 36 p ≤ 36 36 < p < 100 p≤9 p ≤ 36 36 < p < 100 p ≤ 12000 BIPV Sell‐Back price 28,74 27,34 25,87 21,57 22,07 Capacity in kWp Residential Other Buildings Euro/kWh p ≤ 30 30 < p < 100 100 < p < 1000 p > 1000 contaminated ground agricultural fields other Euro/kWh 46,00 40,25 30,35 28,85 40,60 40,60 30,35 28,85 35,20 30,35 28,85 12,00 €c/kWh €c/kWh €c/kWh €c/kWh €c/kWh €c/kWh €c/kWh €c/kWh €c/kWh €c/kWh €c/kWh €c/kWh Sell‐Back Price Feed‐in period N.A. 20 years BUSINESS PLAN FORECAST (REVENUES) * 134,6 mln 140 120 100 70,4 mln 80 PV Roof Tile Revenues 50 mln 60 40 Tile Revenues 34 mln * million € 20 0 2010 May 2011 2011 2012 12 2013 APPLICATIONS CASES May 2011 13 APPLICATIONS CASES May 2011 14 APPLICATIONS CASES May 2011 15 ABOUT US… 16 May 2011 ABOUT US… May 2011 17 ABOUT US… May 2011 18 18 Thank You! “We like to be doing.
