Dear Pacesetters,
Congratulations, on a GREAT August 2012. WE did over $19,000 wholesale. We are back on
track for our Seminar 2012/2013 Circle of Excellence Unit Club…$650,000 retail.
SOON, we will be in a NEW quarter. This STAR Consultant quarter ends on September 15th.
Our goal for this quarter is “10” STAR CONSULTANTS. Will it be you? You certainly have what
it takes!!
I can feel the growth and excitement in the Pacesetter Unit. So many of you are working on
“RED JACKET” status and beyond!! Build you customer base and share the opportunity one
on one. It is best to do face to face interviews. There are NO SECRETS….hold your
appointments, sell the product, use the “4 point recruit plan” in your party opening and
share the opportunity. You’ll find the 4 point recruit plan in this newsletter.
With our new products you can give yourself a huge pay raise and make your customers
very happy.
Keep going to In-Touch under product knowledge and read up on the products.
It will take time to learn it and that is ok actually, if you would just demo it…they will love it.
This new product is a business changer. 50 TimeWise repair customers..Is $10,000 in sales
when they purchase it..…AND $50,000 in reorders in a year! This kind of Income could make
huge difference in your family. Let everyone know that your goal is 50 faces in 50 days with
women OVER 50!! Often you will have the income to purchase and would love someone to
care about their skin.
Senior Director, Debi Yost sold “10” sets last week to the tune of
$3,000 dollars. How exciting.
She just called and asked their opinion and let them try it. They
loved it.
I know there are several of you wanting to advance to “RED JACKET”. It takes parties to
develop a team. It is so much easier when your customer has tried the product before she
learns about our opportunity. If you can’t get with her within 24-48 hours let her view the
DVD, but make sure you follow-up in that time and ask for a few minutes to get her opinion.
The kids are back in school, the family schedule is calming down. This is the time you’ll want
to offer your customers “FALL make-over”/update their skin care program and give them
time for themselves.

4-POINT RECRUITING PLAN!
Skin care classes offer the best place to find prospective
team members. Mary Kay herself developed the FourPoint Recruiting Plan when she first began holding skin
care classes. Since then, it has been used successfully by
thousands of Consultants. Mary Kay taught us all to do
the 4-POINT RECRUITING PLAN AT EVERY CLASS!
This is a simple way to find out who is interested.
#1 - ASK: Before every class, ask the Hostess; "Who is
coming today who might be interested in doing what I do?"
The Hostess has ideally listened to a recruiting CD or
video. Ask her, "Now, you've listened to how we make our
money. I want you to see it for real. Why don't you watch
me today and see if you can imagine yourself doing what I
do - I think you could be really great! At the end of the
class, I will ask you your opinion and if this is something
you'd like to do; these ladies will become your first
customers and your first appointments—isn't that exciting?
A ready-made business for you!!"
#2 - TELL: Give a heartfelt, enthusiastic talk (1 minute)
on why you began your MK business. At every class,
share with them:

#3 - OFFER: Upon completion of your story, ask for
referrals. Say, “Mary Kay is looking for quality people to do
what I do . . . squirt, read and smile. We feel there is a
future consultant at every class! As you watch me today, if
this is something you would ever, ever, consider doing,
please speak to me at the end of the class. I'll provide you
with information to take home which will explain what it
means to be an Independent Mary Kay Beauty Consultant
in a little more detail. Now, real quick—look around this
table and tell me who the future consultant is at this table
today!!??"
#4 - SELECT: We used to select at least 2 people at
every class and offer them the opportunity. Now we give a
CD to every hostess, but we say during the class, “I can't
wait to get your opinion on what MK offers the women of
today and their families—You are going to be amazed at
the New MK!" Make sure to plant the seed by sending her
home with a CD or DVD, & set up a meeting time to share
more about the Opportunity.
