plunging into the Chesapeake Bay with thousands of your
closest friends. Join students from across Maryland, the
US and around the world as we encourage others to stop
using the word “retarded”. It’s the same great event on a
different day with a much bigger impact that will change
the lives of the athletes of Special Olympics Maryland.
For more info, visit coolschoolsmd.com or contact us
at 410-242-1515 ext. 503 or [email protected]

A Pint-Sized Plunge for
Pint-Sized Plungers!
The Pee Wee Plunge is designed for
children ages 8 and under and their
families. It takes place in a shallow
kiddie pool that is lightly sprinkled
with ice cubes. Participants will wade
across in small groups or individually,
providing a less congested (but no
less exhilarating!) experience for the
pint-sized Plungers with plenty of
access for parents.
Scheduled for 11am on Plunge Day, the Pee Wee Plunge is another example of the family-friendly offerings that have become so popular at the event, and will no doubt transform
the “BEAR-ly There” crowd into life-long polar bears.
Corporate
Plunge
Challenge
Take a break from the office on
a Friday and Plunge with your
co-workers! Brand new this year –
the Corporate Plunge Challenge
offers businesses the opportunity
to close the office early and head to the beach for a tailgatestyle atmosphere and Plunge on Friday, January 24 at 3pm.
Teams must have a minimum of 10 members to be eligible for
team prizes.
NOTE: Teams must pre-register. If your team has less than 10
members, you must raise a minimum of $500 as a team to
participate. Participants receive a Plunge sweatshirt, free meal,
souvenir cup with two drink coupons, and the great feeling of
freezing your “fur” off for a truly worthy cause!
Plunging with a Team
is even cooler!
You don’t have to be an official organization to be a team.
Just have your family and friends join you for the big event!
A team is any group of people that wants to Plunge together,
but only teams of 10 or more are eligible for team prizes. All
team members must raise a minimum of $75. In order to be
considered for team prizes, teams must pre-register.
The team that Plunges together, travels together! Parking
reservations can be made for charter and school buses
carrying 25+ Plungers. Email [email protected] to reserve
your pass today. Check out great team incentives and
register your team today at www.plungemd.com!
