DAY 7. BEAVER CREEK-FAIRBANKS. Watch for the
TransAlaska Pipeline as you continue on the Alaska Highway to Fairbanks.
Summertime daylight lasts far into the night; in late summer you might see
the Aurora Borealis.
DAY 8. FAIRBANKS-DENALI. While in Fairbanks, consider an
optional riverboat cruise on the Discovery, a genuine sternwheeler, try gold
panning at Gold Dredge #8, or visit the excellent museum at the University
of Alaska. Then it’s a short drive south to Denali area campground, where
you’ll spend two nights.
DAY 9. DENALI NATIONAL PARK. Now for Denali National
DAYS 1-3. CRUISING THE INSIDE PASSAGE. JUNEAU PORT
OF CALL. Board your cruise ship in Vancouver, B.C. and prepare for an unforgettable adventure. Cruise the beautiful Inside Passage including Tracy Arm and Twin
Sawyer Glaciers enroute to Juneau, Alaska’s capital. Be sure and check out the variety
of shore excursion options that are available.
DAY 4. SKAGWAY. We’ll meet you dockside in Skagway and take care of your

the huge retired Gold Dredge #8, where you can try your luck at gold panning; an
optional cruise on the sternwheeler Discovery.
DAY 4. FAIRBANKS-BEAVER CREEK. Head out on the Alaska
Highway to Beaver Creek, near the Yukon-Alaska border. Enjoy the scenery. Watch
for wildlife along the road.
DAY 5. BEAVER CREEK-WHITEHORSE. Drive the Alaska
Highway along beautiful Kluane Lake, Yukon’s largest lake. Take a side trip
into Kluane National Park, photograph snowclad peaks and glacial streams.
In Whitehorse you might tour the S.S. Klondike, a retired sternwheeler. At
the sod-roofed log-walled McBride Museum discover a trove of riverboat
history, the stagecoach era and the Gold Rush.
DAY 6. WHITEHORSE-SKAGWAY. In Skagway, at the foot
of White Pass, you’re at the exact spot where thousands of fortuneseekers came ashore from their crowded ships, in a fever to search
for gold. Tour the town and visit their haunts. Overnight at Skagway
Mountain View RV Park, a short walk from the downtown historic district.

Glacier Bay National Park, watch the birth of icebergs and experience nature at her
most sublime. Then your elegant ship enters the scenic Inside Passage, including a port
call at Ketchikan. Here, you may choose to select an exciting optional shore excursion
like the Rain Forest Canoe & Nature Trail, Backcountry Jeep® & Canoe Safari or the
Rain Forest Island Adventure. On day 11 disembark in Vancouver, B.C., tour’s end.

DAYS 1-7. GLACIER DISCOVERY CRUISE, CRUISE THE
INSIDE PASSAGE. Board your ship in Vancouver, B.C. Your cruise includes
ports of call at Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway, plus cruising Glacier Bay National
Park and the Gulf of Alaska. Be sure and check out the variety of shore excursion
options that are available to enhance your trip.
DAY 8. SEWARD-ANCHORAGE. After you disembark in Seward, board
your comfortable motorcoach or van for a scenic trip to Anchorage, where you pick
up your RV. We give you a thorough orientation on your vehicle, then overnight at
Anchorage Ship Creek RV Park. You’ll have time left to sightsee and stock up on
groceries, or have dinner out.
DAY 9. ANCHORAGE-DENALI. Drive the Glenn and Parks Highways to
Denali, with mountain ranges to right and left. Watch for a glimpse of the Great One—
McKinley—if weather permits. Overnight near the entrance to Denali National Park.
DAY 10. DENALI NATIONAL PARK. Your day to explore the Park. To see
the most of this vast area, sign up for an optional Denali Jeep® Backcountry Safari tour.
DAY 11. DENALI-FAIRBANKS. Rejoin the scenic Parks Highway, and drive

DAY 12. FAIRBANKS. There’s no lack of things to do here. Consider a visit to
the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, with its excellent museum. Inspect a retired gold
dredge, or view the TransAlaska Pipeline up close.
DAY 13. FAIRBANKS-GLENNALLEN. You start your day driving on the
famous Alaska Highway. At Delta Junction, branch off southward on the Richardson

Learn to handle a kayak from an expert, then put your new skills
to use with an exciting seaborne adventure. Glide through the
water native-style, get up-close looks at wildlife and enjoy everchanging views of the Mendenhall Glacier 8 miles away. Start
with a narrated tour on your way to North Douglas Island. Don
protective raingear, boots and lifejackets, and learn the paddling
techniques you’ll need to handle your kayak. Against a backdrop
of forested slopes, nearby peaks and the spectacular Mendenhall,
you’re on course for an informative and memorable tour. In small
groups of six kayaks, you’re able to stealthily approach wildlife.
Bald eagles and their nests, herons, shorebirds and waterfowl
are all common sights. Porpoises and even humpback whales
occasionally surface for air. If you’re lucky, you might see a
humpback whale. You’ll also visit the Mendenhall Wetlands, a
protected habitat teeming with more than 140 species of birds,

A canoe adventure on a mountain lake
The adventure begins with a scenic motorcoach tour
to a secluded mountain lake, where you’ll board
Indian-style 37-foot canoes that are fast, stable, and easy to
maneuver. Paddle under the direction of an experienced guide.
Scan the shore for wildlife and learn the unique natural and
Native history of the Ketchikan area. The lake, part of a lush rain
forest, is ideal for canoeing and is surrounded by the Tongass
National Forest, the largest National Forest in the United States.
Stop ashore at a remote base camp for an Alaskan-style snack
including smoked salmon, clam chowder, and rolls with wild
berry jams and beverages. A knowledgeable guide will lead a
short nature walk highlighting the flora and fauna of the rain
forest, including a carnivorous plant, the Sundew, which uses
tentacles with an adhesive “dew” to ensnare small insects.
Paddle back to the canoe dock and reboard your motorcoach
for your return to town.

Rain Forest Island Adventure
An island adventure by land and sea
Join an experienced Alaskan trail guide for a walk through natural,
unspoiled beauty in the coastal rain forest on a remote island in
the Tongass National Forest. The trail takes you through an old
growth forest by way of a secluded beach and is mostly boardwalk,
about one-mile in length and well maintained. Follow your guide
through this ancient forest and learn about botanic species native
to this region, including Western red cedar and yellow cedar that
early Natives were so dependent upon for spiritual enrichment,
shelter and transportation, and how Sitka spruce was instrumental
in the construction of Howard Hughes’ famous “Spruce Goose”.
After your hike enjoy an Alaskan-style snack. Then take some time
to explore the natural beauty around you. A motorized rigid hull
inflatable Seahawk provides a short, but exhilarating cruise along
the coast of Clover Passage. Whales, Stellar sea lions, harbor seals,
porpoise, bald eagles and migrating seabirds may be spotted along
this route; sightings are not guaranteed.

Wilderness Sea Kayaking Adventure

memorable adventure! Meet on the dock in Sitka and prepare for
your adventure by suiting up in quality raingear and lifejackets.
Climb aboard our fast, custom-built vessel for an exciting
sightseeing tour enroute to our floating base camp. Your captain
will scan the sea for wildlife, including whales, and identify
points of interest along the way. Upon arrival at our floating
base camp, you’ll be instructed in the use of safe, oceangoing,
two person kayaks by your knowledgeable guide. These stable
yet maneuverable craft let you enjoy the beauty of the protected
bays and inlets near Sitka from a serene, natural perspective.
Groups of up to six kayaks will be led by an experienced guide,
well versed in paddling techniques and the marine environment
of the area. Each of the waterways traveled holds unique
attractions in store, be it colorful intertidal invertebrates, an
eagle swooping from the tree tops, or the grandeur of the lush
rain forest. You may even see brown bear, harbor seal, or Sitka
black-tailed deer.

Gold rush history and fire grilled salmon
At the foot of the White Pass discover Liarsville Gold Rush Trail
Camp and Salmon Bake, so named for the journalists dispatched
to Alaska during the Klondike Gold Rush who fabricated talltales from this very location. Your Liarsville experience begins
with an all-you-can-eat feast in the forest that features wild
Alaskan-caught salmon grilled over an alder wood fire. After
your meal, mosey on over to the gold rush era trail camp.
Here, you’ll enjoy the authentic exhibits of Liarsville. In the
Hippodrome a cast of sourdoughs and dance hall girls will
entertain you with melodrama and poetry by the “Bard of the
North,” Robert Service. You’ll be taught the art of gold panning
before being set free in the Liarsville gold fields, where you are
guaranteed to find gold in every pan! Once you’ve made your
fortune, wander through the camp and visit the Fancy Goods
store and tent exhibits to view antiques and vintage clothing
left behind by the miners and ladies of the evening. Have your
picture taken with one of the dance hall girls or the camp’s

Follow the route of the Stampeders
Travel the route of the trail of ’98 from behind the wheel of a
four-person four-wheel drive Jeep Wrangler®. Your small group
of explorers will set out on an adventure from Skagway into the
Yukon Territory via the famous routes taken by the hardy gold
prospectors in the late 1800’s. You’ll be driving into the heart
of the fabled gold rush legends of Robert Service. Your guide
Jeep ® will entertain you with the lore of the gold rush era by
an interactive 2-way radio system. Driving a Jeep Wrangler®
provides you the freedom of exploring Klondike Gold Rush routes
from the roads less taken. There are several points along your
route where drivers can rotate. View sites like Dead Horse Gulch
and Tormented Valley enroute to the historic village of Carcross,
named after the narrow Caribou crossing at the headwaters of
the mighty Yukon River. Your rugged Jeep Wrangler® will take
you up Montana Mountain where your panorama includes a view
of the Carcross Desert, the smallest desert in the world.

Child rate applies to ages 12 & under. Taxes not included. Most tours include multiple departures daily May through September and by arrangement to meet tour and cruise ship schedules. All tours operate in
all weather conditions. Many tours are suitable for all ages and no prior experience is necessary, just good health and an adventurous spirit. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Children
ages 13-17 must have a signed parental consent form to participate in the absence of a parent or guardian. All Jeep® tours require drivers must be at least 25 years of age and have a valid drivers license.
Jeep Wranglers® carry four persons each, children 5-12 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of five cannot be accommodated on Jeep® tours. We will provide a booster seat for children
between ages 5 through 8 upon request and subject to availability. Some of the tours have weight requirements such as children must weigh at least 40 pounds in order to fit into required life jackets.
