The cheer squad performed routines and then divided up into three groups, forming three human pyramids. At the end of the routine, the Leopards all gathered up to form one giant pyramid in the shape of an ‘M.’ The pre-game celebration was a part of the pink out rally. The Malvern school district held pink out rallies all through the week in support of the American Cancer Society and participated in a coin drive with 103.7 The Buzz in a coin drive to raise money for cancer research. During the Oct. 2 game, players wore pink socks, the cheerleaders wore pink ribbons and the fans dressed in pink in support of breast cancer awareness and research. Awareness and fundraising activities will continue through October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The volleyball team will be having a Dig Pink themed volleyball game against Lonoke at 5 p.m. on Oct. 22. (Photo by Joshua Waddles) GOOD LUCK LEOPARDS!
