Trial Success !!!
A BIG Congrats to Grant Milne & Abbi and Rob Butler & Charli – they collected
the goods at the recent Dobermann Club Trial.
Grant achieved his 3rd pass in Novice with 187/200 pts, which WON him the
class. It also gained he and Abbi their Novice (CD) Title. Great effort !
Rob & Charli gained their 2nd pass in CCD, 86/100 points and also WON their
class. Good Dogs !!!
GSDCV Champ Show Trial – March 10th
We had 5 entrants in this trial, and all did well. Grant won the Novice class
(and all the prizes that go with it !) with another good score. Rosalie & Seb and
Anca & Stella both did well in the 1st trial in CCD (on lead), and Rob & Charli
performed well but missed out on a pass. Jacinta & Dizzy nearly got there in
Novice! Well done to everyone, just proves that the training and work is paying
off !!

Reminder – when you are out and about with your dog, you represent the German Shepherd Dog Breed
(and our club) at all times, so do the right thing! – make sure your dog is sociable to other dogs and
humans and under appropriate voice or lead control and always pick up poo! And promote the GSD
wherever you go!

Its currently great weather for FLEAS!! Yes, heat, humidity, rain
etc all lend themselves well to a new new burst of flea breeding.
Make sure your dog is adequately treated or you use a
preventative. If your dog is scratching unnecessarily, check for
fleas.

DON’T let your dog hang his or her head out the car window –
they can easily have their eyes damaged by bugs, dirt and other
airborne nasties as you cruise along !
WATCH OUT for bees and wasps on the grass – some dogs are
allergic !! Vet treatment may be required if your dog gets bitten
