St. Michael San Antonio ANITA CORTEZ She is a very committed parishioner. In the past, she has volunteered as a religious education teacher, as well as providing maintenance to the parish hall. Currently, she is an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion, coordinator and a member of the Spanish choir. She is always willing to serve. St. Monica - Converse GLISSIE ESQUIVEL He has been a faithful member of the parish for many years leading the Spanish Choir in Sunday liturgies as well as working with the combined choir in the bilingual liturgies for holy days and special celebrations. He and his wife, Domie, are devoted to the Eucharist spending many hours at adoration taking on the responsibility of reposing the Eucharist at the closing of adoration. They also are homebound ministers and play music at the nursing home Mass once a week. St. Patrick San Antonio JUAN AND ARCELIA RAMIREZ Juan and Arcelia Ramirez lead and facilitate retreats, like the Grupo de Oración ministry and Escuela de San Andres classes/ retreats, increasing participation of the Hispanic community. They are always ready to serve. She always volunteers to help in most of the church activities that build family. In the fall, Kristen gave an awesome reflection on sharing of treasures at the Sunday Masses. Her children attend religious classes and serve as altar servers. St. Peter the Apostle Boerne REE LAUGHLIN She has been instrumental in developing several dynamic programs to include the new parishioners welcoming program events. She has a passion for adult religious education and Bible study, promoting courses and multiple Scripture studies. She is a wonderful resource for new ideas to start something new or increase energy in the parish. Ree’s incredible resource for knowledge, wisdom, enthusiasm and sharing of her faith makes her an unbelievable treasure to the parish. ANDREA DE LA CRUZ JOHN SILVA John Silva has been a parishioner since he was young. He has been president of the Men’s Club, head of Sunday choir, president of the Finance Council, member of the Pastoral Council, lector, member of the Knights of Columbus, Building Committee, Food Pantry, RCIA adult education, Fall Festival and English tutor. He is a Knight of Columbus, extraordinary minister of the Holy Communion, chairman of the annual festival and assists in maintaining parish facilities.
