Sacred Heart - Floresville ROSE MARIE PENNARTZ She is a kind-hearted, hardworking lady who is always willing to go the extra mile. She served as the parish secretary from 1977-2001. After retiring, she continued to stay involved in the life of the parish in various ministries such as chairman for the parish picnic, assistant director for religious education, cemetery clean-up crew and president of the Altar Society, 5a where she continues to serve. Her spiritual and positive leadership reflects in all that she does. his God, follows his faith and is always there to help his fellow brother. Sacred Heart - Gonzales Sacred Heart of Jesus Von Ormy ABEL AND LIDIA ASCENCIO ARCHBISHOP GUSTAVO GARCÍA-SILLER, MSPS Our Lady Queen of Peace - Kenedy TODAY’S CATHOLIC They have both given many years of dedicated service to the parish. Abel has offered weekly adult faith formation classes, including Scripture and Catholic catechism. He organizes the RCIA program in Spanish and works with liturgical ministers and altar servers. She participates in many areas of parish life, and several years ago formed a children’s choir that has continued to blossom. Both have been involved in the family retreat ministry. Sacred Heart - San Antonio JUANITA RAMIREZ She was the religious coordinator for 21 years. Sacred Heart - Uvalde PHILLIP HERNANDEZ YOLANDA CASTRO She is a religion teacher with special dedication to preparing children for First Communion and she is also the treasurer for the Altar Society. Sacred Heart of Mary Rocksprings LILIA CERDA San Fernando Cathedral San Antonio GREG RUFE He has been an important and active parishioner. He is involved with Fiesta San Fernando, Knights of Columbus, serves as an acolyte for the church, assists in the fall festival and serves on the Finance Council. Sacred Heart - Comfort HERIBERTO AND LOURDES ANGEL This couple has always been willing to be involved and help in any way possible. In addition to heading the Spanish Choir, they have chaired the annual festival.
