Winston’s Men’s Wear has casual and dress wear to make

Five years ago, Bill and Dianne Brittain opened Winston’s Men’s Wear,
located on The Square in Goderich, trading in the hustle and bustle
of the Greater Toronto Area for the more relaxed lifestyle of Huron
County. Winston’s carries everything men need to look their best.
Suiting is one of Winston’s most popular sellers along with casual
wear, business wear and cruise wear. Carrying classic styles and
colours, Winston’s also has a wide selection of fun colours and styles.
If you’re looking for something that you haven’t seen before, Winston’s
will have it. “When my customers are on the street, they represent
me,” states Bill, “I like to hear when customers receive compliments
from others about their clothing.” Area residents have begun to
realize they don’t have to drive to London for dress clothes anymore.

Alterations are included in the price of dress pants, sport jackets and
suits; something the big stores don’t offer. When you wear clothes
that fit properly, not only do you look good; you’ll feel more confident
too. Bill says his tailor works very hard to accommodate the customer,
even those in a rush, “Sometimes we’ll get someone in at 11 o’clock
and they need a suit
for 2 o’clock. We work
very hard to give a
high level of service”.

Bill and Dianne utilize many different local businesses, not only for
Winston’s, but for their personal life as well. “We think it’s good for
everybody to shop local. We make our living here and try to help
others do the same. I know it’s tougher in a smaller town, but we
think if you really try, you can find everything you need locally,”
state Bill and Dianne, “If you were to add up the cost of gas, food
and possible accommodations to shop in Detroit, London or Toronto
it would likely be much more expensive than shopping locally.”
Bill says they are still learning about the perfect product
mix and sometimes their discoveries are surprising, “We sell
more swim suits in the winter than we do in the summer.” No
matter the season, Winston’s always has a great selection.
