Leixlip Manor and Gardens is a tastefully restored Georgian Country House dating back
to 1765. It overlooks the Liffey Valley in Leixlip, an unspoilt vista of mature trees with the
River Liffey meandering through it.
The property has 29 Bedrooms including four magnificent suites where you can relax,
unwind and enjoy our professional, friendly service in an atmosphere of quiet elegance.
The original Drawing room of the house can accommodate 120 banquet guests. It is
flooded with natural light from its Georgian windows. Its high ceilings, chandeliers, two
open fireplaces and original cornicing all work together to create an atmosphere of
understated elegance.
The house is nestled on 27 acres of mature parkland and 4 acres of formal gardens. One
of Leinster’s finest Victorian Walled Gardens which has been meticulously restored,
provides a picturesque setting for your Photographs, Wedding Ceremony or Marquee
Wedding.
Our reputation for hosting the finest Wedding Receptions is well renowned. Indeed since
opening in 1996 the house has hosted almost 2000 Weddings! We are immensely proud
of our Venue and are always delighted to open the doors to this beautiful property so that
our customers can celebrate this special day in their lives.
Since 1999 the House has been owned by the Towey family and managed by our
Wedding Co- ordinator, Lesley Daniels. We are committed to providing all of our guests
with the highest standards and excellence in hospitality. All your arrangements from
your initial enquiry to your Wedding Day will be carried out by our Wedding Team,
thus ensuring that we take care of you and your guests at all times.

Accommodation (2 9 Bedrooms - 1 0 in the Manor House & 1 9 in the Courtyard):
Leixlip Manor & Gardens offers a choice of 29 en - suite Bedrooms. Each room comes as standard with
the following facilities; Remote Control TV, Direct Dial Telephone, Hair Dryer, Free Wireless Access
(main house only), Iron & Ironing Board, Tea & Coffee making facilities and Mineral Waters.
We offer a special discounted accommodation rate for your wedding guests. These are as follows;

Room Bookings:
For Weddings booked from May to October inclusive, there must be a minimum of seven rooms
booked by your guests for Weddings that are held Sunday to Thursdays. Ten Rooms must be booked
by your guests for Weddings that are held on a Friday or Saturday. These room allocations are net of
any complimentary rooms that may be included in your wedding package. Room Accounts are
normally settled by your Guests directly unless the Bride and Groom stipulate otherwise.
Please be aware that all the bedrooms at Leixlip Manor are strictly non-smoking. All Weddings booked
from November to April must book 7 rooms, please note this is net of any complimentary room included
in your Wedding Package.
Photo Opportunities:
The Leixlip Manor & Gardens is the most beautiful setting with twenty- seven acres of woodlands and
parkland. Our unique Victorian Walled Garden that has been lovingly restored over the last number
of years provides a unique and tranquil backdrop for your photographs.

We have extensive private car parking complimentary to all your guests.

Bar Service:
A full bar service for all Wedding Guests will be provided until 12am Sunday to Thursday and
12.30am Friday and Saturday. A Bar Extension can be arranged at an additional cost of €500
meaning the bar can then remain open and entertainment can be run until 2am. Arrangements for
an Extended Bar Service require three months written notice. Please ask our Wedding Co-ordinator
for further details. Our residents Bar remains open till late (or early in the morning!).
Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships at Leixlip Manor
We would be delighted to host your Wedding Ceremony at the Leixlip Manor & Gardens. You may
wish to use our elegant Drawing Room or any location of your choosing within our four acres of
Gardens. Many couples choose our Victorian Walled Garden. Please note that the HSE Registrars
office will only conduct Civil Ceremonies in the Drawing Room and not on Saturdays/Sundays or
Bank Holidays. A Registered Solemniser can perform a full Wedding outside of these times i.e.
Saturdays and Sundays. Please contact us for details. Other Ceremonies such as blessings may be
performed at a location of your choice within the Property. A venue charge of €450 applies to all
onsite Ceremonies held at the Leixlip Manor & Gardens.
Please Note our Terms and Conditions
W Having discussed your wedding requirements with us and visited th e hotel, should we have th e services and
facilities you require we would be happy to place a provisional booking for you for one week. After this
period has expired the date will automatically be released unless a booking deposit has been paid.
W Within one week of placing th e provisional booking we require an initial deposit of €1000.00 to secure the date.
W The Bridal party from our Sister Hotel leixlip House may choose at their disgression to use our Evie Hone Garden
which is exclusive to that property.
W We will at this stage con rm in writing, receipt of your initial deposit, con rmation of your booking and ask
you to sign a copy of th e Booking Terms and Cond itions Contrac t with th e speci c details of your Wedding
Reception containe d within . We would ask that both the Bride and Groom sign this contract. The payment of
your deposit is taken as con rmation of understanding of our booking terms and conditions of business.
W Please note all deposits and pre payments are non refunda ble and non transferab le to other Hotel services.
W Should you be forced to postpone your da te booked, the original deposit pa id to th e hotel may be transferred
to anoth er da te within 3 months of th e original booked Wedding da te. An administration charge will apply.
W In the unfortunate event of a cancellation by a client within 6 months of th e wedding da te, the hotel reserves
th e right to charge a cancellation fee of €5000.0 0 in ad dition to the initial deposit. The hotel may waive or
reduce the cancellation fee at its sole discretion depend ing on the circumstan ces in each case. In every case
the deposits paid as per the schedule are non refundable.
W One month before the wedding we require con rmation of rooms booked or a cancellation charge will
apply. Weddings booked May to October on Thursda ys must book a minimum of seven standard bedro oms.
Weddings booked on Fridays and Saturdays, May to Octo ber must book a minimum of ten standard rooms.
These are ne t room bookings and exclusive of any complimentary bedrooms . Room Account s are generally
settled directly by the guests who have mad e their own ind ividual bookings from this allocation, unless
oth erwise instructed by th e Bride and Groom.
W Final numbers for th e meal are requ ired seven days before the wedding, this number will represent th e
minimum numbers charged for and any ad ditional guests will be charged as appropriate.
W To facilitate ad ministration we request th e Wedding Accou nt be settled by Draft in Euro Bank Transfer,
Laser or Cash five working days prior to the Reception.
Unfortunately we do not accept Credit Cards for the main Wedding Account.
W Please note a charge of €450 applies to an On Site Wedding Ceremony.
W A 10% decrease on your initial booked numbers is permitted. Should the numbers decrease by more than
10%, th e wedding account will be charged for the initial numbers booked less the 10% decrease regardless.
In ad dition any special conditions that were agreed on the basis of the initial booking numbers will become
void. For numbers that fall below our seasonal minimum numbers, a venue hire charge will apply.
W The hotel reserves th e right to cancel an event in th e following cases; It is mad e by a third party, by
providing mislead ing information at any time, under false pretence, th e hotel believes th e booking might
prejud ice th e reputation of the hotel or evidence is received by th e hotel that the client s are financially
unable to meet th e cost of th e event.
W The reserver will be responsible for th e good conduct of all th eir gue sts. Any da mage caused to the premises,
th e grounds, xture and ttings etc of th e Hotel by the Bridal Party or th eir Guests will be billed to th e Main
Wedding Account. The amount estimated by the Hotel must be settled in full before the departure of the reserver.
W The Hotel reserves the right to alter its prices and conditions, th e structure of th e premises, its grounds and
its environs with out the prior knowledge or consent of its patrons.
W The hotel will not be liable for any failure or delay in providing facilities, services, food or beverages as a
result or events or matters out side of its control, trade disput e, power cuts, ood or storm da mage.
W No Beverage of any kind may be brought ont o th e premises by th e patron or any of the patro n’s gue sts or
invitees. The Hotel reserves the right to make a charge for any infringement of this policy
W A Bar Extension requ ires three months notice, this must be in writing to th e Hotel. The cost of a Bar
Extension is €500.00.
W With regret the Hotel takes no responsibility for Wedding gifts brought onto the premises by your guests.

Leixlip Manor & Gardens is your private country Manor for your special day. The “Festival Package
is designed for a more casual style celebration by letting your guests enjoy a tasty BBQ Meal that
includes a Pig on a Spit. Whilst the meal may be a little more casual we have not parted with tradition
and our Drawing Room is still beautifully presented for your guests. The main meal is served BBQ style
however, additional courses such as, Starter and Dessert are still served to the table. It is the perfect
combinations of atmosphere. Little touches such as Lanterns & Festive Bunting on the Patio and a late
night buffet are included. Minimum Numbers of guests for this package from May to October, Friday
& Saturday is 90 or more adult guests and Sunday - Thursday is 75 adult guests. During November

The “Vintage Style” Collection
We have created a very special new idea called the “Vintage Styling Collection”. As Leixlip Manor is
already a most beautiful backdrop for a Wedding Reception, the Vintage Style Collection gives couples
the opportunity to let us style the venue in an even more authentic Vintage setting. Think beautifully
appointed tables with a definite Vintage theme running through them, think lots of Vintage style props
throughout the Manor such as wicker and pearl love hearts, think bunting on the patio, a 1920’s
gramophone player in the Lobby, a High Nelly bicycle at the Front Door, think Vintage style emblems
hanging in the Conservatory as your guests arrive. We have a huge selection of Vintage Inspired
props for you to choose from that will surely enhance your Wedding day even more.
The cost for the complete Vintage Styling package is €300 in addition to your overall package price.

W e have also included some additional Wedding Reception ideas that you may wish to
consider;
Marquee Weddings
For larger weddings, up to 160 guests when attached to the Drawing Room or 250 on a stand
alone capacity, we can organise fully equipped Marquees for your Wedding Reception. The
Marquee is located within our gardens near the main building so that the transition from the
Hotel to the Marquee is seemless. Prices are dependant on customer specifications. Details of which
are available from the Wedding Team.
Uplighters
In the evening time we light our Bar and Entrance area with Uplighters. These create a beautiful
lighting effect that gives a very intimate welcoming atmosphere. We can also add this mood
lighting into the Drawing Room for you at a cost of €275.00. It will certainly bring a new
dimension for the evening part of your Wedding Reception.
The Two day Wedding at leixlip Manor
We are delighted to welcome Weddings that may wish to extend their stay and enjoy the Manor
and its Gardens for a second day. Should your Wedding be on a Saturday we invite you and
your guest to stay on relax and make a weekend of the celebrations. You must book a minimum
of 10 Bedrooms and catering options start at €25 per person for a BBQ or Buffet. (A minimum
