Distinguished by its high quality, Falmec use AISI
304 stainless steel with a high nickel content.
That means your cooker hood will maintain a
brighter look for longer and is resistant to rust.
Ionisation technology generates and stabilises the
ion particles in the air that destroy pollutants and
bacteria, as well as absorbing cooking odours.
The result is sanitised air for a healthier kitchen
environment.

E-MOTION
No finger-prints technology. The patented
imprintproof Fasteel is steel that does not leave
fingerprints or streaks. The result is a material that is
very easy to clean.
Your cooker hood neatly opens and closes with a
one-touch motorised opening system.
24H FUNCTION
Halogen “Easy Open” lights
You can have clean air throughout the day when
you activate the 24 hour function. The cooker
hood cycles the air on a low speed for an hour,
then off for three hours, continuously refreshing
the air until deactivated.
Falmec’s ‘easy-open’ halogen lights are styled
with a distinctive square fitting to complement the
design of the contemporary hoods.
LED lighting
N.R.S.
Not only do LED lights consume less energy, they
produce a pure light and last a long time. You’ll
not only have ambient and functional lighting,
you’ll be saving energy.

special attention is given to noise reduction, with
more comfort in the kitchen as a result.

Zeolite Filters
The new carbon.Zeo filter is a special combined
regenerable Carbon and Zeolite filter that deals
with cooking odours and steam. The Carbon.
Zeo filter can be regenerated in the oven at
200 degrees for 2 hours. It is recommended to
regenerate every 18 months depending on use
and will be effective for 3 years.

Founded in Northern Italy by brothers, Danilo & Maurizio, one a designer the other an engineer,
they formed the perfect partnership to create beautifully designed and expertly engineered
cooker hoods.
From laser steel cutting to final assembly and finish, the specific skills and experience of
employees are utilised to guarantee a high standard of quality and performance. Made using
AISI 304 stainless steel with an 18% chrome and 8% nickel alloy, the material is hygienic, easy
to clean and extremely resistant to corrosion.

A breath of pure air in the kitchen
Dust, pollen, pollutants and bacteria in the air all have an effect on our immune system as we breathe them in.
However, Falmec’s E.ion® System cooker hoods not only eliminate cooking odour, grease and steam – they purify
the air for a healthier kitchen environment.
How does the E.ion® System work?
Particles called ions exist in the air, dubbed the ‘vitamins of the air’ for the beneficial effect they have on our health
and wellbeing. In nature, ions attack the pollutants and eliminate odours.
The E.ion® System cooker hoods restore and stabilise the optimum ionic balance by generating ions. These
absorb the pollutants and odours to give you up to a 95% decrease in odour. You’ll know when the air is clean as
the leaf indicator turns from yellow to green.
The E.ion® System features:

The Marilyn features a handmade ceramic canopy that
makes your product unique. Small differences in the
finish are the result of the individually crafted product.
Its production starts by cooking the ceramic in an oven
at around 1300˚. The external surface is then painted
and given a waterproof and scratch-resistant coating to
maintain its beauty.

Cooker hoods for a quieter kitchen
The kitchen is a social hub, whether to work in, socialise or to entertain - so you won’t want the noise of a cooker
hood interrupting you.
While all Falmec extractors have a low level of noise, the /34® range of cooker hoods reduces the noise even
further. /34®TUBOETGPS/PJTF3FEVDUJPO4ZTUFN® - the Falmec technology that optimises air flow and reduces
resistance, the principal cause of noise in extraction. This is coupled with special sound-absorbing panels.
The result is 86%* less noise and an almost whisper-quiet extractor. Choose from a range of built-in, traditional
and feature extractors to suit your style for a quiet and relaxing kitchen environment.

Easy to clean filters - either Top filters or metallic grease filters
/34¥DIBSDPBMGJMUFS the NRS extractors have a specific high-performance carbon filter which can be
regenerated. In this way, the lifespan of the filter is extended to three years before recommended replacement,
as opposed to every four months for a standard filter. It can be washed in the dishwasher at a temperature no
higher than 65˚C. The carbon particles can then be reactivated by warming the filter in the oven at 100˚C for
ten minutes.

The science behind the silence
The NRS® project was developed by Falmec in collaboration with laboratories specialising
on airflow dynamics. This was studied using innovative computer software. Investment
was made to develop new materials best suited for the NRS® range for their sound
absorbing qualities to reduce the noise produced by air flow.
Compared to today’s standard hoods, the noise level has been reduced dramatically.

NRS® extractors can achieve up to an 86% reduction in perceived noise by following a
logarithmic scale. Each decrease of 1dB corresponds to a reduction in perceived noise of
around 20%.
