At its core, Designed by Laura is me – a onewoman art and design studio specializing in
high-quality WordPress website and identity
design for solopreneurs, small businesses,
and non-profits. I also create and sell original
artwork, handmade greeting cards, and other
assorted crafts online and at local craft shows.
I possess a naturally creative personality, which has led
me on a lifelong mission to be as creative as possible
in as many ways as possible. It is my goal to create
designs that are both attractive and user-friendly, and
to avoid sacrificing form in favor of function. I focus on
usability, and clear and concise writing, in order to add
some beauty to the business of the web.

I offer 2 packages: one for custom website design and one for branding and identity design. Each package has its
own set of add-ons for further customization. Prices are based on my hourly rate.
The Custom Website Design package is priced at $4800, 17% less than it would cost to purchase the included
features separately.

P3: PROCESS
STEP ONE: After reading through this INFO PACK, fill out my PROJECT REQUEST
FORM by clicking here.
STEP TWO: Once I receive your PROJECT REQUEST, I will send you a PROJECT
PACK, a customizable quote, a Design Services Agreement, and your
first invoice. The PROJECT PACK includes lots of helpful information,
such as how to set up your domain and hosting services (for web
design) and Project Planning Questionnaires to give me all your vital
information and project details.
STEP THREE: I send you an invite to our project on Basecamp.
STEP FOUR: You fill out the Project Planning Questionnaire, and upload it and other
necessary files to our project.
STEP FIVE: We get started!
A highly detailed project workflow is included in your PROJECT PACK.

BASIC TERMS
The following terms apply to all of my projects, and are detailed further in the Project Pack and Design
Services Agreement.
• A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the project total is due upon signing.
• The remaining project fee is billed in the following amounts: 30%, 30%, 10%.
• Final files and access are not turned over until the bill is paid in full.
• Payments are billed on a term of Net 0.
• Your project’s space in my calendar is not reserved until the deposit is received.
• I include a credit line in the footer of your website and use your project in promotional materials.
• I require at least 8 weeks to see a project through to completion.
• I do my best to answer all e-mails or messages within 24 to 48 hours of receipt, Monday through Friday.
