Bimmerfest 2005 raises over $6,400 for Santa Barbara’s Family Services Agency More than 2,000 people and close to 1,000 cars spanning all of the BMW genres were in attendance at Bimmerfest 2005. What is called the biggest BMWexclusive enthusiast show in the country, this year’s event was hosted by BMW of Santa Barbara, Calif. Several prominent race car teams and drivers were on hand signing autographs as well as a lineup of featured tuners and vendors promoting their products and services. Among them, Praxis Advanced Suspensions, which was well represented by two Praxis-equipped vehicles on display at the show: Garrett Chang of B& M Racing, and Todd McWilliams of my330i.com. During the “Opportunity Drawing", a charity raffle which raised over $6,400 for the Family Services Agency in Santa Barbara, a set of Bridgestone tires was awarded to Bernard Wang, of Eugene, Ore. Bernard, a long-time Bimmerfest attendee, owns a 2002 M5 and will be soon taking Euro Delivery of a 2006 650. He is also first on the waiting list for a 2006 Interlagos Blue E63 M6 Coupe.
