Dear UIL Coordinator:
You are invited to participate in the Annual Dr. Leoindes G. Cigarroa High School Invitational Meet to be held
Friday, November 13, 2015 and Saturday, November 14,2015. This will be a full meet using third party vendor
materials will be used. LD/CX Prelims, Ready Writing and Computer Science hands on will begin on Friday,
November 13,2015 at 5:00p.m. Tournament materials may be picked up between 7:00- 8:00A.M. in the
cafeteria on Saturday. UIL two day meet schedule will be followed. Sponsors must help grade papers in all
events except Journalism and Ready Writing.
Awards and trophies will be given out to match the trophies for the district meet. Some events are limited to
four entries as stated on the entry form. UIL rules will be used to break ties. Sweepstake points will be based
on the overall top 6 scores in each event.
Metals will be given to the top three contestants in each event/division, and ribbons will be given for 4th-6th
places. Individual medals will be awarded to the top team in the following events: Accounting, Literary
Criticism, Current Issues & Events, Computer Science, Calculator, Mathematics, Number Sense, Spelling,
Social Studies, and Science. You must have three students to compete for the team medals. The top three
scores from each school, regardless of grade level or division, will be used to determine the winning team. Top
Physics, Top Chemistry, and Top Biology will be awarded medals and will be selected from all grade levels
combined. A plaque will be presented to the top place Journalism and Speech team based on overall team
points. Sweepstakes plaques will also be awarded to the top three schools based on overall points.

Entries must arrive by mail, fax or emailed in by November 6, 2015 by 5:00PM. The entry fee will be based on
type of contest entered. A hospitality room will be available for coaches and bus drivers. If you have any
