Select Hose Assembly Fabricators
Aircraft Fueling, Anhydrous Ammonia and Composite Hose
Distributors who make industrial hose assemblies for specialty applications typically require
specific components and particular equipment, training and fabrication expertise. To
address such circumstances, Parker has established a special category of distributors—
Select Hose Assembly Fabricators (SHAFs)—to service the markets for these applications:
Gold Label® Aircraft Fueling Hose†*

Composite Hose†*

Parker Select Hose Assembly Fabricators agree to comply with strict Parker fabrication, testing,
inventory, documentation and inspection requirements. They are especially oriented to high
liability industrial hose applications such as the transfer of aviation fuel, toxic compressed gases
and other dangerous media. These focused distributors are committed to responding rapidly
and safely to assembly opportunities by stocking a comprehensive inventory of bulk hose and
couplings, by having the necessary assembly fabrication and testing equipment and by
instituting regular training to establish and maintain necessary expertise.
Select Hose Assembly Fabricators are a valuable resource for any Parker distributor
requiring specialty hose assemblies; many SHAFs have regional and/or national representation.
