Create the “Big Picture”
Your family is invited to participate in the Congregation Shaarey Zedek Community Mosaic Mural
Program. We’ve partnered with Project S.N.A.P. to create a mosaic mural that will celebrate our
congregation’s community and the theme “Am Yisrael Chai -- The Jewish People Live!”
Your family’s artworks will join thousands of pieces created by our congregants and members of
the larger Metropolitan Detroit Jewish community. Together we will help create a giant, 4’ x 15’
mosaic mural. Once complete, the mosaic mural will greet congregants and their families as they
enter the Berman Center for Jewish Education.
When the mosaic mural is revealed this Fall, your family will be able to find the artworks you created and the exact locations of their artworks in the mosaic mural by either visiting the Berman
Center or going to the Project S.N.A.P. Online Art Museum!
