About the venue
Thank you for considering the Loch Lomond Waterfront for your forthcoming
wedding. We are a privately run venue on the sunny, east side of Loch Lomond
and can offer a unique combination and variety of facilities in a superb setting.
We are in the heart of the National Park but only 40 minutes from Glasgow and
its airport. We are bounded by nature reserves and a picturesque highland
village and our natural grounds include a private foreshore backed by ancient
broadleaved woodlands.
We are able to host conventional, one-day events but our most popular option is
for a weekend-long, site exclusive, country style wedding. This allows you to host
the wedding of your dreams in a relaxed, happy atmosphere.
Our function suite is fully licensed and comprises three, distinctive and
interlinked rooms. It features south-facing loch views and the Thistle Room can
seat 110 guests in comfort for a wedding breakfast. For weddings of up to 250
guests a fully serviced marquee on our private foreshore is a great option.
Our friendly staff and caterers are very experienced but as owners we take a
close personal interest and involvement in every event. To ensure the proper
attention to detail we host a limited number of bespoke events each year so we
hope that the details enclosed will encourage you to make an appointment to

On the banks of Loch Lomond
For an unforgettable ceremony you can tie the knot on the banks
of Loch Lomond with the most magnificent backdrop. For added
convenience we can also provide a star-shade awning to ensure
the weather wont impact your day.
The Garden Room
Our Garden Room is the perfect alternative to an outdoor
ceremony. Filled with natural light, it provides an ideal venue for
the cooler months.
Traditional church services
For those looking for a traditional church service, the delightful
Buchanan Parish Church is just a mile away. Luss Church is also
a favourite alternative. Easily reachable by car or boat, many
couples take advantage of the Waterbus and opt to have their
drinks reception on the water whilst traveling back from the
church.
On the water’s edge
Vows can be exchanged within feet of the water’s edge, framed by stunning views. Your
drinks reception can also be hosted on the foreshore under the canopy of the trees or in
a star-shade awning. For wedding breakfasts we can accommodate up to 250 guests in a
beach front marquee - we have a number of styles available. Our exclusively private beach
looks out to the south and is the idyllic place to watch the sunset behind the islands. Many
couples who opt to have their reception by the water also choose to have an evening hog
roast and bonfire.

The Rob Roy Bar is a
comfortable and intimate
bar with a log fire. It is often
used for get together drinks
the day before the main
event. Sitting adjacent to
both the Thistle Room and
Garden Room, it enables you
to have plenty of space for
both dancing and relaxing.
The Garden Room adjoins
the Rob Roy Bar and is an
all weather, heated grand
conservatory capable of
seating 100 guests for a
ceremony. It is also used
for drinks receptions and
evening buffets and is
an ideal space to provide
entertainment for children.
Luxury accommodation with private hot tubs
Our on site luxury five star accommdoation gives you and your guests added convenience
and enables you to create a relaxed and fun environment by taking away the need for
transport arrangements.
Every lodge can sleep up to six people and has a sauna or steam shower room. Residents
can also enjoy their own private hot tub on the patio with undisturbed views across Loch
Lomond. Whether you ask guests to pay for their own accommodation on site or you
prefer to cover the costs yourself, we are happy to manage all bookings on your behalf
and can also provide breakfast packs on request.

As standard, you’ll receive the following as part of your venue hire:

• Our grounds, including our fully serviced water’s edge ceremonial pavilion or
marquee sites.

Site exclusivity
Few other comparable venues offer such flexiblity. When you book a wedding at
Loch Lomond Waterfront, we want it to be unique and tailored to yourselves.
Site exclusivity is available for anyone who hires all lodges as well. We are happy
to manage all guest bookings for accommodation on your behalf whether you
choose to cover the cost yourself or charge back the cost of the accommodation
to your guests.

and table service. Our award winning caterers use locally sourced produce where
possible to create your gourmet wedding breakfast.

If you would like to offer your guests a choice for each course (in addition to
a standard vegetarian option), then we can help you choose your own menu.
An additional surcharge of £1.20 for two choices and £2.40 for three choices is
applied. All guests need to return their menu choices prior to the wedding.
Please ask us about our Kosher and Halal catering options. Our prices include
the provision of all crockery, cutlery and menu tasting for two.
A hog roast is an ideal option instead of a traditional evening buffet. Prices can be
provided upon request as they vary depending on size.
