100 Eagle Street – Sarina Russo River Centre – Strategic leasing by YCU Your
Credit Union
YCU Your Credit Union has leased the ground floor of the Sarina Russo River Centre
at 100 Eagle Street, taking out the last remaining Eagle Street Retail premises. YCU
Your Credit Union has also taken space on level 5 of the Centre.
This move sees YCU Your Credit Union (originally known as Queensland
Professional Credit Union), move its retail branch and Head Office administration
from 85 George Street after 30 years. Pictured at the official preopening is building
owner Sarina Russo of the Sarina Russo Group with YCU Chairman Gordon
Rutherford and Managing Director Stephen Barnard.
Ms Russo said “We have been very careful to find the right tenant with the right
brand and business values, so we are very pleased see YCU moving in”.
Stephen Barnard, YCU Your Credit Union Managing Director commented “We are
excited with our new address, which is strategically significant to us as we compete
in a dynamic banking market as a customer focused and relevant banking
alternative”. “It is a convenient location for our existing members and offers a
strategically central location for those considering their banking alternatives”
The deal was negotiated by Stuart Moody from K2 Private on behalf of the lessor and
Stephen Parker from Incorp represented the Credit Union. Incorp Project
Management managed the construction and fit-out of the Banking Chamber. YCU
Your Credit Union has taken 161m2 at circa $950 per m2 and approx. 117m2 on
level 5 of the centre.
YCU’s new branch opened for business on Monday 18 May.
