Welcome to Tattersall’s Function Centre
Hidden in the heart of the city, Tattersall’s Function Centre invites guests to
experience and explore the majestic facilities this unique venue has to offer.
With an abundance of function spaces to choose from, Tattersall’s Function Centre
can offer you the flexibility and ease of organising both your ceremony and wedding
at the same venue.
Our experienced and professional onsite wedding co-ordinator will work one-on-one
with you to ensure you have the perfect day, including tailored menu options, starting
at $121 per guest, styling and theming for 20 to 250 guests.
Tattersall’s Function Centre is fully flexible and ready to adapt to your needs with
Friday, Saturday and Sunday package options, lunch or dinner and alternative buffet
and cocktail menus available.

Members’ Bar
The Members’ Bar is a grand feature of Queensland Heritage. The high walls,
stretching two levels up to the hand-painted gold ceiling details, present amazing
acoustics and the punkahs over the long bar take you back to yesteryear.

Members’ Dining Room
The Members' Dining Room reflects the elegance and class of the early 20th century.
The room features a striking 10 metre high ceiling with stunning three metre high Art
Deco mirrors, with walls finished in Queensland marble. These striking features
provide a unique canvas to create something very special.

Healy Room
The Healy Room features an elegant function space displaying some of the
Club’s most esteemed pieces of artwork, creating a magnificent ambience for a

Chandelier Room
The Chandelier Room is most aptly named, with impressive Waterford Crystal
masterpieces hanging elegantly in the centre of the ceiling. The space is a perfect area for
an intimate ceremony or reception and provides a stunning backdrop for photos.

Grand Ballroom
The modern Grand Ballroom is Tattersall’s Club’s most versatile function space with
capacity for groups of 30 up to 400 guests. The ballroom comprises of three spaces –
Templeton Room, Holdway Room and Williams Room – and is perfect for a
ceremony or wedding.

Accommodation
Tattersall’s Function Centre has 18 elegant accommodation suites, including
two luxurious spa suites, with striking city views. Couples will enjoy one
night’s complimentary accommodation as newlyweds and also another on their
first anniversary.
Accommodation is also available to the bridal party and wedding guests from $215
per room per night. All Accommodation guests enjoy a complimentary continental
breakfast each morning in the Healy Room during their stay.
Parking
Tattersall’s Function Centre guests receive discounted parking rates at Queen’s
Plaza and the Wintergarden. Guests are invited to validate their parking ticket at
Concierge for a reduced daily rate of $19 for under six hours, $21 for over six hours,
or $10 after 1.30pm week days and on weekends.
High Teas
Experience the best the club has to offer at one of the Healy Room’s famous High
Teas. Ideal for bridal showers or a mother and daughter get together. Let the Club’s
chef patisserie spoil you, while you enjoy the warm friendly service of the
experienced Healy Room staff.

Terms and Conditions
Confirmation and Deposit
• Confirmation is required in writing, with the initial deposit of $500. This
confirmation must be received within 14 days of the original reservation. If this
confirmation and deposit is not received within the specified time, Tattersall's Club
reserves the right to cancel the booking and reallocate the venue.
• Tattersall’s members can have the deposit charged to their accounts.
• Credit Card or payee details must be provided on confirmation of the wedding.
Final Payment
• Full payment of the account balance is required five working days prior to the
wedding.
• Tattersall's members can have the final payment charged to their accounts on the
day of the wedding.
Surcharges
• A 15% surcharge applies to all weddings held on a Sunday.
• A 25% surcharge applies to all weddings held on Public Holidays.
Guaranteed Numbers
• Final number of guests is required five days prior to the wedding and this will be
the minimum number of guests charged to your account.
• Beverage package and menu details are required to be confirmed two weeks prior
to the wedding.
Cancellations
• Cancellations are required in writing.
• In the event of a wedding being cancelled within three months of the confirmed
date, a refund of the deposit will be subject to the venue being re-booked.
• Any cancellation within two months of the wedding will result in the deposit being
forfeited.
• Any cancellation within two weeks of the wedding will result in a cancellation
charge of 50% of the agreed contract amount and forfeit of the deposit.
Dress Requirements
• Gentlemen are required to wear minimum jacket and tie for weddings.
Lounge suit preferred.
• Guests wearing DENIM, jeans, shorts, T-Shirts or thongs will not be allowed
access to the building.

Room Hire
• Complimentary when number of guests exceeds 80 (less than 80 guests - $500).
• Surcharge applies when Member’s Bar Area is used for seated catering ($300).
Responsibilities
• No dangerous goods are to be brought to the venue.
• No display materials or decorations are to be erected without prior approval of
Tattersall's Club and compliance with all relevant laws and bylaws.
• Every due care is taken, however Tattersall's Club cannot accept responsibility for
lost or damaged goods.
• The wedding shall commence and conclude at the agreed times, and guests and
attendees shall conduct themselves in an orderly manner in full compliance with
Tattersall's management directions.
• The use of candelabras, which cause excessive mess from dripping wax, may
incur a cleaning charge.
Smoke Free Clause
• Tattersall’s Club is a “no smoking” venue.
Responsible Service of Alcohol and Liquor Licensing Restrictions
• Tattersall’s Club adheres to the law regarding responsible service of alcohol.
Alcoholic beverage service will be denied to any person deemed to be under age,
or unable to substantiate their age, displaying disorderly behaviour or who is
unduly intoxicated.
• The Client agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of Tattersall’s Club
liquor license, current details of which can be provided on request.
• Hours of service to commence ten am (10.00) until twelve midnight (12.00)
• Last beverages to be announced at 23.30. Exceptions include Easter, ANZAC
Day and Christmas Day.
Prices and conditions are subject to change without notice.
Prices listed in the 2015/2016 Wedding Package are current from April
2015 until March 2016.
