We are gearing up for an eventful Fall and Winter here
at FRIENDS. Thanks to our participants, staff,
volunteers, Board of Directors and donors, FRIENDS
is growing and reaching more individuals with our
much-needed services than ever before!

From the Desk of the Executive Director
Much has happened with FRIENDS in the last
year. It's almost been a year since we transitioned to
our new facility.
We now have a beautiful kitchen accessible to all
for cooking classes, an amazing outdoor area for
cookouts and gardening, and a state of-the-art
computer lab sponsored by the Broomfield Rotary
Club.
Our programs are bursting at the seams, and we are
proudly hosting visitors daily. Our amazing staff are
keeping participants busy with a variety of activities,
and I see nothing but smiling faces all day long. We all
love what we do!
Next month is our ANNUAL VARIETY SHOW. This
year is the story of FRIENDS expressed throughout
the performance. We've had our challenges, but
because we are a family, a TEAM, we've overcome.
FRIENDS is here to stay! Come HEAR US ROAR!

Broomfield Days
Broomfield Days 2014 is
Broomfield's third annual
"Day of Play, beginning
with a Golf tournament
onFriday, September 19.
The play continues on
Saturday with a 5K race, a
clown contest, a parade, a
trade fair, a craft festival,
food booths, three stages
of entertainment,
demonstrations, and great
community spirit.
