Pumpkins and Fire trucks!
Our preschoolers had a blast on their
trip to Meadowbrook Farm in West
Bend to find the perfect pumpkin for
Halloween. They also loved visiting
Summit Woods Community in
Waukesha for trick-or-treating and
fun activities. Our Twos loved their
Sweet Treat Scavenger Hunt!! Thank
you to families that contributed to
our Halloween Party festivities!
We want to extend a big “thank
you!” to Adam Forstner, dad to
Griffin, for visiting us to talk about
fire safety and to show his firefighter
gear to our Twos and Preschool
classes!
Generous Hearts
You may have noticed the bin near
the check-in computer— we are
collecting winter coats, boots, hats,
mittens, etc. for other Ebenezer
families that are in
need of warm
items for the cold
weather. Think of
us as you’re
cleaning out your
closets this fall!
We appreciate it!
Thanksgiving
We will be hosting a Thanksgiving
feast for our children on Friday
November 16th! Sign-ups will be
coming out for families to bring a
Thanksgiving food to share. You
are welcome to join us for lunch!!
We will be closed Thanksgiving Day
and our center is closed the day
after Thanksgiving, as well. If you
are in need of care on that day, we
can discuss other Ebenezer centers
that will be open! Thanks!!

Infant Room
Hello from the Infant Room! We are well into the fall season and signs
are all around us. We are working in our room to get into the spirit of
fall. We would like to welcome Henry May and his family to the Infant
Room! They joined us in October! We would also like to wish Silas
Birney a very happy birthday! He will be turning 1 on November 14th!
Toddler Room
For the month of November, we will focus on: Nighttime, with a
nighttime picture for art and crescent rolls for cooking; Harvest Time &
Foods with corn on the
cob for art and corn bread
with cream style corn for
cooking; and Bears with a
bear print picture for art
and berry mix for cooking.
Lastly, we will focus on
Thanksgiving, with a
cornucopia for art and
sweet potatoes for
cooking.
Two Year Olds
Oh, October where have
you gone? We had so much fun in October, with learning about
Dinosaurs, having a special visitor for fire safety, and touching the ooey
gooey insides of the pumpkin. Next month, we will be working on our
feelings, Thanksgiving and farm animals. I would also say a big welcome
to Max Marek and Serenity Franklin. I would also like welcome Lauren
Kaczmarek and Samantha Kaminski who will be starting in the first
week of this month. Also, as some of you have noticed, I have moved
the cubby bins
underneath, so please check
regularly to see if your child
has enough and appropriate
clothing.
Preschool Room
We are really enjoying fall
in the Preschool Room.
Trips to the hill and woods
have been two of our very
favorite things to do so far.
We have also let our
imaginations run wild with
spooky festive themes. We have also jumped full force into the
letters A through I thus far, as well as the numbers 1 through 9! We
will continue not only recognition activities, but also play some fun
phonics games and games involving number concepts. In November,
we will also be focusing on manners and thankfulness as well as other
activities listed on the November activity schedule. Please take the
time to go through your child’s clothing bins, located under the
cubbies, and change out appropriate clothing! Enjoy all that the
season has to offer!
