Easter Offering
On Easter morning, we will have our special offering to go to the One Great Hour of
Sharing. The Presbyterian Church invites you to follow God’s call and take action to
help those who are hungry, thirsty, without shelter or a safe place to call home. From
people living in your community to those around the world, your gifts have a global
reach, providing food and water, relief from the effects of crises and catastrophic events,
and assistance for those stricken by oppression. This is a great cause to donate to.
Make check payable to GRACE. www.presbyterianmission.org/give-oghs
If you have something to put in our daily emails or our monthly newsletter, please call (337) 984-6400
or email our secretary Sarah at [email protected] and we would love to include it.

We are in the process of developing flyers. Funds Raised We are so excited to report that LASOAR has received $2300 so far in Donations ($1300 through www.GoFundMe.com/Lasoar and $1,000 through a private donor in the form of a check.) Only $200 to go until we reach our $2,500 Matching Grant Goal with Grace Presbyterian Church! Your donation can equal $5,000 for LASOAR Programs! Mission: Our mission is to reconnect children to the natural world and promote the power of play to improve child and family health and well-‐being. Vision: Louisiana communities with safer city parks, more programs utilizing green spaces, a higher volume of accessible trail systems linking neighborhoods and playgrounds, community gardening projects, sports and recreation leagues that are all-‐inclusive and focus more on teamwork, social development, and kinesthetic learning. Louisiana children with more opportunities to hike through the woods, canoe down the river, play in the dirt, and join others to become stewards of the environment and lead a life of high quality. Goals: • Create programs and initiatives to encourage families to get out and get active. The National Recreation and Park Association reports, “Emphasis on expanded recreation initiatives will encourage greater use and ultimately create a safer park environment.” • Collaborate with other organizations having a similar mission to combine our efforts and accomplish more.
