Flags and Electronics Recycling for Special Olympics Youth Grades 6‐12 / 2012‐2013 Faith Formation! Unserviceable flags continue to be collected in the flag box which is now located inside the Usher’s Room at the rear of the old Narthex. If you are not familiar with the location of the Usher’s Room, please ask an usher for directions. Used cell phones, inkjet cartridges, digital cameras, camcorders, and hand held electronic games can also be placed in this box. The flags will be disposed of in a proper manner. All electronic equipment will be recycled by an environmentally responsible company and the proceeds from the recycling will be donated to Special Olympics. Our new neophytes and candidates were fully initiated into our Catholic Faith through the Sacraments of Initiation during the Easter Vigil. The Monsignor Smyth Golf Tournament will be held on April 22 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of St. Mark Catholic school. Alumni and their families are encouraged to attend to commemorate this milestone year. This year we will play at Luna Vista Golf Course. Shot gun start to begin at 9:00am. The entry fee is $150.00 per player. This includes all golf, 8 beverage tickets and a meal after the round. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams. You can also enter the Long Drive and Closest to the pin contest as well as purchase mulligans for your round. All proceeds support the St. Mark Catholic School Athletic Program. In this light, St. Mark the Evangelist, through Bishop Farrell, invites our practicing adult Catholics (18 years of age and out of high school), who lack the Sacrament of Confirmation, to be sealed with the fullness of the gift of the Holy Spirit. If you are currently a registered member of St. Mark the Evangelist and a practicing adult Catholic in good standing and have already received the Sacrament of Baptism and Eucharist, you are invited to register and attend the preparation class on Tues.
