If you choose to do that and need a referral, please notify us soon since you will need to ship them out yourselves. ALSO, the South Broadway Baptist Church “Homeless Outreach Day” is December 12. They are accepting hats, gloves, socks, scarves and blankets for this ministry. We can help them! Saturday, Dec. 12 at Berea Church The Christmas ministry of toys and food giveaway has grown through the years. You can help the WMU Leadership Team by collecting toys now that you will donate to this ministry. We actually are accepting toys and food for families. This is needful for our community. SIGN-UP for toys is set for November 9-13, and 16-20 at the Baptist Bldg. from 10:00am 4:00pm each day. Families are required to preregister and get an appointment for the Saturday distribution time at the church. Send that word out to deserving families you know. This ministry got its start in Robeson County in 1955 under the leadership of Ms. Grace Garthwaite. Volunteers are needed to assist in walking the students to and from class, sitting with the children during classes, lead music, assist the teacher, etc. Interested volunteers should call Gary or Levonda Rowe at 618-9745 for more information. Jesus said, "Suffer the little children to come unto me..." Is God calling you to help in this important work of reaching the children of our county with the Gospel? Summer Missions 2016 Registration Any person that desires or is interested in volunteering for a summer mission project in the Midwest for June or July 2016 should apply right away through the Association mission contactperson.
