THE WARRIOR PROJECTS
• MISSION STATEMENT
• To encourage participation of women in all aspects of the automotive industry.
• Thank you for visiting Warrior Projects. The Valkyrie Project – a 1969 AMC AMX complete restoration
and rebuild – will serve as a platform for women in the industry to design, fabricate and ultimately build
a uniquely powerful and equally beautiful car. The completed AMX will debut on the Hot Rod Power
Tour.

THE PROJECT
• The build took place over a 4 month period – April to June, 2015
• Doug Evans offered to host the build at his shop in Tampa, FL
• Women were invited to participate in any part of the build, for any length of time

THE GOALS
• Highlight women’s contribution to the automotive industry
• Mentor young women entering the industry
• Fundraise for the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric
Cancer
• Build really bad-a** race car
THE PLAN
• Build the car
• Promote the project via internet and our own networks
• Bring the car on the Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour
• Hospital visits on behalf of the Austin Hatcher Foundation
• Race the car at various tracks and events
• Show the car at SEMA this November
