The fabric that is used for the outer
Annex to certificate 03107304
layer of the one or two piece suit FRACH-'1 í, is tested
according to CLC TS 50354:2003. During the test with 4kA during 0,5 s (class 1) and in which the
distance between the fabric and the electrodes is 30 cm, the following results were obtained:
After flame time < 5 s
No hole formation
The material does not melt further to the inner layer
The temperatures raise on the back of the sample is below the maximum allowed temperatures
raise according to Stoll/chianta (second-degree burn)

Annex to certificate 03107304
The one or two piece suit FRACH-1 '1 complies with the most recent understanding as written in
prÊN 1í49-5:2006
These requirements are as follows:
- The electrostatic dissipative clothing shall cover permanently all non complying materials
during normal use.
- lf the electrostatic dissipative protective clothing comprises multiple layers, the outermost
material shall meet the material requirements.
- Thin, non-dissipative attachments such as labels, reflective stripes, etc., are permitted
provided they are permanently attached so as to avoid significant separation between the
-
attachment and the electrostatic dissipative clothing.
Conductive parts (zippers, buttons ...) are permitted provided that they are properly
covered by the outermost material when the clothing is worn in flammable or explosive
atmospheres.
On homogenous materials the test is carried out according to EN 1149-1:2006.
On non-homogenous materials the test is carried out according to EN 1149-3:2004.
