It is not uncommon to find people needing emergency food assistance who never could have imagined they'd be in that situation. Sometimes, it's a work lay-off, a strike, an illness, or other situations that can bring a family to the door of a community food pantry. Someone may become disabled and homebound, unable to fend for themselves; or a minimum wage job may force a parent to choose between paying the rent or feeding their family. These are examples of the types of situations as to why individuals may find themselves in need for assistance. We know that times are tough for everyone but it you have a little left over please think of the less fortunate than you. Let’s show the communities that we live in that: ELKS CARE - ELKS SHARE ELKS 2070 GOING GREEN If you wish to receive your bulletin via e-mail, please go onto our website (http://www.elks2070.com).
