Fellow Members:
The month of September is going to be a very busy month for our lodge
concerning various activities. Volunteers and their services for the upcoming
events will definitely be requested. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
On Sunday, September 13th, the Elks 2015 Family Picnic will be held beginning at
11:00 a.m. at the Pavilion. Members and their families are invited for a day of
Fun, Food, and Friends. The Menu will consist of BBQ pork steaks, chicken, and
hot dogs, with sides such as potato salad and baked beans. There is a sign-up
sheet located at the bar in the Antler Room.
On Saturday, September 19th, our lodge will host a “Craft Beer Tasting” at the
Pavilion. The timing of this event begins at 1:00 p.m. and continues until 6:00
p.m. Come and taste different types of beer from around the world. Both music
and food will be available.
On Friday, September 25th, the “Soulard Blues Band” will perform in the Antler
Room starting at 7:30. Come early and enjoy a fried chicken dinner.
On Friday, September 25th and Saturday, September 26th, the Elks Fall Bar-B-Que
will be held at Bellemore Village. Pork steaks and brats – dinners and sandwiches
– will be offered from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day.
On Sunday, September 27th, the Elks Golf Tournament will take place at Legacy
Golf Course with a 9:00 a.m. “Shotgun Start.” The cost per team is $240.00
($60.00 per golfer.) This golf tournament benefits our Christmas Basket
Program.
