Exalted Ruler Message
Trustees: 7 PM * * * Meeting: 8 PM
Hello fellow Elks,
This has been a fast year, at first I thought wow, people have no
idea how much you need to know to be the Exalted Ruler. Going
through the chairs I see now is more important than fellow elks
feel is necessary.
Let me tell you how my mind rationalize the situation, as
secretary 2 yrs, trustee for 4, scholarship chair for 4 yrs & on
many committees, I thought this is going to be OK.
I think I‘m prepared.
Well did I get a surprise; I do think it should be a 2 yr position.
However: I think it would be harder to get the ERs. Just as you
get the hang of things like another job your year is up.
I was sad to see my time was up, I thought of all the things I
would do & the time flew by. Flying by my husband falling from
the roof ridge did help matters.
I am happy to say I am staying on as ER for 2016-2017, I hope
that we will get to accomplish all the things we have on our list.
It is going to be GREAT!!!!
I look forward to working with all the committees, & fellow elks,
doing all the good for all in need that we joined the Paramus Elks
Lodge # 2001.
