Camp Staff
The camp will be overseen by Ron
Hicks, head coach/co-owner of the
Chicago Steam. Hicks has also
coached at Triton College, Illinois
Institute of Technology, Malcolm X
College, and in France and Sweden.
The staff will be comprised of current
and former professional players and
professional basketball trainers.
The Chicago Steam Basketball Camp is
committed to providing our campers
with the opportunity to improve their
game, reach their goals, and enjoy their
experience at Fosco Park. An
experienced staff of professional
coaches and players will work with
each camper individually to help them
improve their basketball skills and
realize their playing potential. Our
camp staff takes much pride in
establishing a fun and competitive
environment.
Camp Information
Coach Ron Hicks and his camp staff
will focus on total player development,
teamwork and sportsmanship. All
campers will be divided by age and
skill level. The focus areas for the camp
will consist of shooting, ball handling,
rebounding, passing and defense. Our
goal is to have each player improve by
the end of the month!

Schedule
Daily drop-off begins at 12 p.m.
Camp runs from 12:30 to 3:30 pm daily.
Parents and guardians are welcome to
observe.
Each camper will receive a t-shirt!
Top campers will receive trophies and
official ABA game balls!!!
