KaVo Everest® Software ® Everest system intelligence – For maximum dental excellence. KaVo Everest® Software Scanning. Construction. Production. Finished. 1:1 Scanning precision - original to digital The Everest scan unit is the interface for precisely measuring and recording threedimensional model geometry to convert it into visually portrayed processing data. Easily controlled via the scanning software. Simple project administration via a database All project and processing data is easily administered in the Everest system database and can be retrieved at any time for processing. Surface-Scan: from the model to 3D modelling The Everest scan unit forms the first interface for highly-efficient and easy dental processing directly on the computer: Software-supported modelling and construction Therm – reliably to a perfect finish The processor-controlled, fullyautomatic temperature control of the Everest therm ensures a reliable finish with a perfect fit following final sintering of ZS material. The intelligent software module for an excellent workflow The three-dimensional surface scan in the Everest scan unit determines the models measurements, which are visualised for further processing in 3D on the screen. The basic software modules, Surface and CAD, lead you from an image to a virtual model with its construction and modification on the screen. Depending on the requirements, various software tools are available that cover the entire range of modifications. Complex crowns and bridges can be easily generated. Critical areas such as the crown margin are automatically recognised by the software and calculated. The database for the processing software is generated from the final design data, and this software controls the subsequent finishing process of the Everest engine. Fully-automatic CNC manufacturing With its advanced grinding and milling technology with five simultaneous machining axes, the Everest engine is the standard for fully-automatic, software-controlled CAD/CAM processing perfection – with minimal finishing required! Whether an individual preparation or entire arch, the scan software recognises the finest detail. Available material variaty: ZS, ZH, Titanium, C-Temp, C-Cast, VITA Mark II, VITA CAD-Temp monocolor, HPC, G-Blanks, CAM Select. 2 3 High precision in generating the scanning data is ensured by the easy and reliable positioning of the scan model. Just a few , simple menu-guided steps from the scan model to virtual modelling in 3D. KaVo Everest® Software Basic CAD software module. The basics of virtual dentistry. The CAD module consists of the basic software and supplementary design modules with conventional tools. The innovative menu guidance of the Everest CAD software is primarily oriented around regular processes in dentistry. The available tools and processing steps correspond to familiar tools used in conventional procedures. The virtual 3D model is highly realistic. Just as when working on a real object, the graphic on the screen can be rotated and viewed in any desired position like a genuine three-dimensional plaster model and worked on by dental technicians. Clearly organised software interface. Squash bite function. The buttons in this toolbar can be used to easily show and hide functions. Determination of the vestibular alignment. You can select different views for the applications in the menu bar. The wax knife function can be selected in each process step. The intuitive and clearly structured user interface makes the software particularly easy to use. Each element can be individually selected and directly changed on the object. The elements can be adapted individually to the special needs of each user, dentist or patient as well as the target material. For expanding the number of indications and the virtual toolbox, and for additional material options, software modules are available to supplement the Everest System. 4 5 KaVo Everest® Software Perfect processing with the perfect tools: Structure, checkbite, wax knife Jedes Element kann individuell und einfach zum optimalen Ergebnis bearbeitet werden. The positions and design of the object can be directly changed. Software as a constructive element: Structure Guaranteed successful frameworks Step by step to the goal The Structure software module allows any and all constructions including bridges and multipart frameworks to be comfortably and quickly created. Within the Structure module, the “Frameworks software package“ provides all the necessary tools for manufacturing frameworks. Easy drag-and-drop makes construction child’s play. The appropriate material is chosen for the respective construction. This includes the construction of crowns and bridges (without wax modelling), along with the optimum adaptation to the antagonist and neighbouring teeth, as well as the individualisation of intermediate bars. Any element of the framework can be individually positioned, optimised and removed. Drag the spheres to individually change the height, width or alignment of the construction elements. Special designs such as scallops for metal frameworks can be individually and easily produced with this software. The position, angle and size of pontics can be altered by rotating or dragging the corresponding button. 6 7 KaVo Everest® Software Clear comparison: the check-bite-function Reproduction of excellent constructions Perfect reproduction with dual scanning There are certain constructions that can only be represented and created as a wax model. Reliable and comfortable control of spacing to the antagonistic arch. With such tasks that cannot be processed by CAD, you can profit from the efficiency of the Everest system by using the Reproduction software module to virtualise the models with a dual scan and then perfectly reproduce them using CAM. The optimum position and correct design are always found with the squash bite and associated spacing measurement functions. Fully-anatomical restorations/wax-ups This module contains the following material options: G-blanks, ZS, ZH, TI, HPC. This function can also be combined with the CAD function of the Structure module. A bridge can hence consist of both constructed and modelled parts that are then digitally joined. Perfectly positioned opposing contour Whether for individual teeth or complex constructions – the squash bite function can be included in any construction or processing phase to quickly and easily take into account the position and contour of the relevant antagonist. For example, fully-anatomical works can be created, especially division attachments, primary telescopes, individual implant abutments, etc. whose real wax model was scanned beforehand. Within the software it is possible to design and position cusps, in conjunction with the antagonist, to ensure that the framework fully supports the porcelain. Perfect framework design taking into account the antagonist. Easy scanning and grinding of fully-anatomical wax-ups. 8 9 KaVo Everest® Software Individual bar design for perfect connections Unrestricted individualised bars Wax knife – waxmodelling in real time The size, position and alignment of the pontics can be easily established and changed with the Structure module. The connectors can be individualised just as easily and reliably. The use of different software modules ensures maximum clarity while working. The Everest basic software module contains the functions that are standard in the actual world of the dental technician (such as the wax knife function and squash bite function for determining the counterbite). The shape of the bars and variable bar crosssection can be individually determined for each part of the framework. The software allows you to directly control the stability of the selected construction: Critical bar sections are displayed red. When needs increase, the module functions can be supplemented or additional modules can be added. The wax knife function can be accessed any time and is available at all application levels. Individual wax modelling with the addition and removal of material and smoothing surfaces is child’s play –all done in real time, and reversible at any time in steps. Easy repositioning of the connector with a vertical, horizontal or transverse alignment. The wax knife application is in real time. Construction tailored to the oral situation Processing software – like wax in your hands The connecting bars can be positioned independently in three dimensions separately on each side. This maximises individual adaptation. Think of it as orally correct software! A clearly organised system with easily understandable function buttons makes the tools and processing commands intuitive and easily learnable. Use the functions Apply, Remove, Smooth and Reverse in Wax Knife mode to turn your mouse into a perfect wax knife. Individual design of the connector shape under direct visual control. 10 11 KaVo Everest® Software Virtual instead of manual: The anatomical crown only a few steps away Click your individual crown. Be on the safe side of design: Implants Create individual single crowns or anatomical copings for the anterior and posterior region. Also quadant reconstructions are possible! An integrated tooth library offers a variation of shapes and designs for anatomical crowns. The integrated data may be adjusted or extended with personalized designs at anytime. By scanning a reference body, the software automatically determines the location position of the abutments. Implant links by Neoss. The optimum basic abutment shape can be selected from a database. Implant abutments Anatomical frameworks for perfect ceramic support. In a cutting-edge software feature, the abutment module expands the Everest applications in the field of implant technology. Implant structures can be scanned and constructed based on links. The Anatomy module also incledes the functions to produce anatomically reduced crowns. Here you may choose the amount of the desired reduction – only by a double click and the antomical coping is complete! New with Neoss To optimally exploit the potential of the abutment software module, KaVo is cooperating with Neoss, one of the leading providers of implant links. The result: an coping with excellent ceramic support. The software offers additional security by including a „base coping“ in the restoration which illustrates the minimal thickness. Rotate the abutment and individually adapt it with the click of a mouse. 12 13 Abutments for implants from the most important suppliers such as Straumann, Nobel Biocare and 3i innovations can be directly and individually desingned and produced by the Everest laboratory. Another great advantage is that abutment and coping can be designed and produced in one processing step at once. The available materials for abutment solutions include ZS and Titanium. KaVo Everest® Software Complete processing: ® Everest production software. The trailblazing 5-axis technology of the KaVo Everest engine Artificial intelligence for artistic dental technology The production software automatically calculates the milling data for the current indication from the data transferred from the CAD module. Once saved, the milling data is available for any number of identical reproductions. Elementary safety and quality assurance Depending on the selected final material and its processing properties, the speed and feed of the milling unit is automatically adjusted. The size of the material blank to be machined is indicated by the system. The cement gap parameters are individually determined. As hardware, the Everest elements provide the basis for CAD/CAM processing on the highest level of quality. This level of quality must be maintained. The Everest elements are therefore provided with a software code on an RFID chip* The processed gripping yoke is visible as a virtual screen projection in the processing menu of the engine control. The work can be easily assigned the desired position in the gripping yoke. The information saved on this radio chip on the material, batch, origin and specific properties (such as shrinkage) are automatically recognised by the Everest CAM software and kept available as process data. Possible axis movements The X, Y and Z axes define the horizontal and vertical travel paths in space. The A axis defines the swinging range of the gripping yoke and hence the workpiece rotation. All Everest materials are tested and certified for their biocompatibility (*Radio frequency identification) The current gripping yoke is simultaneously imaged as a virtual projection in the processing menu of the engine control. Safe system A logical, closed CAD/CAM system circuit includes the processing material and promotes safety and quality. The B axis indicates the rotational range of the spindle and tool. Potential errors are excluded from the beginning by the simple automatic transfer of material process data from the radio chip. Seamless control With the Everest system, material safety removes Any dispute over material source . Any deviations or material flaws can be seamlessly traced by the RFID coding in the sense of certified quality assurance. 14 15 Everest ZS blanks are distinguished by a homogenous particle distribution and maximum purity.
