I hope you were able to use these major events along with our usual monthly activities to meet someone new and grow your business. Many of my business relationships have come from getting to know someone and learning they have a product or service I didn’t know they provided. If you are looking to learn how to build new relationships to help your business please join us at our regular activities. This month you can also learn about the impact identity theft can have on your business. Jim Hodgdon of The HBC Insurance Group will discuss identity theft while we enjoy dinner at Jameson’s during our monthly member meeting. Please join us to welcome Pearl Banquets & Conference Center to Roselle at our Business After Hours. Pearl banquets is a new banquet facility at the Holiday Inn and Express. I would like to give a special thank you to everyone that came out for our Business After Hours at Langner Eye Care. We can’t believe we have been open for ten years already! Roselle really is a great place to do business. Because it can’t be said enough, I would also like to reiterate our thanks to the many volunteers that donated their valuable time to make the Golf Outing, Rose Parade, Member Appreciation Picnic and Taste of Roselle successful events this summer. Our Executive Director Gail Croson did an outstanding job (once again) of organizing a myriad of details and schedules to help ensure events go off smoothly. Our upcoming Casino Night promises to a fun night out for all. We are hoping for 200 in attendance – sponsorship opportunities are available if you are looking for a great way to promote your business in the community. Contact the chamber office if you would like to get involved. Mark your calendars for October 9 and invite your friends and family – we look forward to seeing you there!
