My mom is the best cook that I know.
She makes the best meals I’ve ever
eaten. Mom is smart. She is helping
me on my project for school. Mom is
hard working. She earns money to take
care of my three sisters Shayla, Britney,
Jennifer and me. I want my mom to
be able to have a nice pizza dinner out
without having to cook for us!
~J.P., Mt. Lebanon School
My dad is strong, He is from Georgia. He
has a dog named Bailey. When my dad
visits he takes us swimming & fishing.
My mom is a single mom. She works hard
to keep our family together. I wish I could
see her more. She has muscles. Mom is
nice. She bought me a bike. Mom takes us
swimming in the summer.
My mom deserves a nice dinner out!
~J.G., Mt. Lebanon School
My mom is hard-working. She works all day
long. While we’re at school she’s working.
My mom is nice. She always has a snack for
us when we come home from school. She is
neat and clean. She is funny when she talks.
If we are annoying her she will do the same
thing back to us. She is a good baker. At
Thanksgiving she made the BEST food ever!
Mom wakes me up in the morning. She
helps me get ready for school too! She will
scare you if you scare her. My mom doesn’t
get mad that easily.

my dad sailed
across the
ocean on a ship to the USA. He
was five years old. It happened
after the Vietnam War. Later he
was married in the USA. I think
that my dad was brave to go on a
big ship when he was five years old
My dad is strong. He can pick me up!
Sometimes we get to ride on his back then
he flips us off. And sometimes it hurts!
He is also a good baker like mom. Dad is
always cleaning up. He is so organized.
His office is so neat! My dad is a good
worker because he worked hard in
college. Dad is a dioctor and works
hard at his job. He saves people’s
lives. Once he’s at home he tells the
grossest stories ever! Without my
parents I could not do anything.
