SYNOPSIS
In a traditional Lebanese town, Leba, a music instructor, marries his childhood sweetheart Lara.
Their third child, Ghadi, has special needs. Will little Ghadi become a burden on his family? Is he an
angel or a demon? Strange phenomena, secretly
staged by Leba, soon affect the behaviour and beliefs of the locals. Could Ghadi be an angel? His father, along with his teammates, tricks the town into
believing so.

THE LEBANON PROJECT
The Lebanon Project is an international project of the Order of Malta that aims to bring
loving care to the mentally and/or physically disabled people of Lebanon. Founded 18
years ago by the German Youth of the Order, the project now unites delegations from the
United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France and recently Switzerland thanks to a team of the
Hospitaler Service of the Order of Malta in Switzerland (SHOMS).
SUMMERCAMPS
The project has many activities, the most important of
which is the summercamp. During two weeks, young volunteers from all around the world gather in the hills of Lebanon to offer extraordinary vacations to guests whose daily
life conditions are otherwise often miserable.

CARAVAN
The Lebanon Project also offers the possibility to participate in the Caravan, a program for young volunteers ready
to take a gap year in Lebanon to serve disabled people.
The Caravanists attend Arabic courses and university
courses in Political Science of the Middle East in the morning before going to the homes for service in the afternoon.
AL-FAHDI CENTRE
DESCRIPTION
The Al-Fahdi Centre is a paramedical building designed for
the care of people with special needs. Located in Chabrouh,
a little village near Faraya, this centre belonging to the Lebanese Association of the Order of Malta has been hosting
camps all year long for the last 18 years. Recently, it has undergone major renovations.
SUPPORT
All the benefits from the movie projection of Ghadi will be
transferred to the Lebanese Association of the Order of
Malta as participation to the renovation costs of the Al-Fahdi
Centre. All the delegations of the project join hands to bring
this centre to European standards of hygiene and comfort
for disabled people.
