The following information supplements and / or supersedes the bid documents issued on January 13, 2016.
This addendum forms part of the contract documents and is to be read, interpreted, and coordinated with all other parts. The cost of
all contained herein is to be included in the contract sum. The following revisions supersede the information contained in the original
drawings and specifications issued for the above-named project to the extent referenced and shall become part thereof. Acknowledge
receipt of this Addendum by inserting its number and date on the Tender Form. Failure to do so may subject the bidder to
disqualification.

new greenhouse, interior face of firewall only, and interior face of block infill at existing high
hazard classroom.
Liquistone 50 shall be applied on exterior face of new block walls, see specification.
High build glazed coatings required only at exposed areas of brick and block. Not needed
within firewall cavity.
Horticultural Lab - No new flooring planned, exposed concrete floor to match existing.
Concrete pads are still required.

The undersigned hereby declares that we have carefully examined the site of the proposed
Work and existing conditions; the requirements of the construction schedule; and have
satisfied ourselves that the Subcontractors, material suppliers and equipment suppliers on
which this Bid is based are capable of meeting all requirements of the schedule, and of
executing the Work in accordance with the Drawing and Specifications, the Instructions to
Bidders, Bid Form, together with Addenda listed in paragraph 1, of this Bid Form.

The following tender clarifications are to be included in the tender for this project and are to be completed in accordance
with the specifications and all terms and conditions of the contract documents.
The following are responses to questions from Serianni Construction issued February 8, 2016.
Note that drawings and specifications will not be reissued. The questions and responses are to
clarify scope of work delineation and to identify coordination scope of work required. All work
indicated on the drawings and specifications must be completed to achieve fully completed
operating systems.

Question:
Indicates installation of in-floor heating system, will Erie Structures be supplying the
system? Are they including the manifold and protective cabinet? Mechanical addendum
#11.3 indicates that the radiant floor system is by the mechanical contractor, please
resolve this contradiction.
Response
- Delete the scope of supply and installation of the in-floor radiant tubing system
from Div. 15.
- Supply and installation of the in-floor radiant tubing in the greenhouse vendor
scope including extending capped tubing loops 3-4’ above floor slab for
connection by Div. 15 to manifolds provided by Div. 15. The Greenhouse vendor
will include in-slab tubing supports and include pressure verification and
monitoring during the pouring of the greenhouse concrete floor slab.

Question:
Indicates hanging/mounting of hot water unit heaters, will Erie Structures be supplying
these heaters? Mechanical addendum #11.3 indicates that the unit heaters are by the
mechanical contractor, please resolve this contradiction.
Response
- Delete the scope of supply and mounting/hanging of the four (4) unit heaters
from Div. 15.
- Supply and mounting/hanging of the four (4) unit heaters included in the
greenhouse vendor scope.

Question:
Indicates supply of two boilers, will Erie Structures be installing these boilers?
Mechanical addendum #11.3 indicates that the boilers are by the mechanical contractor,
please resolve this contradiction.
Response
- Delete the scope of supply of the two (2) heating boilers from Div. 15.
- Div 15 scope includes the installation of the two (2) heating boilers
- The Greenhouse vendor supplies the two (2) heating boilers including specified
control panel.
- Include the testing, startup/commissioning/training of heating boilers in the
greenhouse vendor scope.
Question:
Indicates that the environmental control system will be moved and remounted, however,
they have not included line and low voltage wiring. Is the electrical or mechanical
contractor responsible for any wiring related to this system?
Response
- Wiring of control system (Argus) within the greenhouse is included in the
greenhouse vendor’s scope of work, including the wiring and placement of the inslab temperature sensor.
- Div. 15 control contractor scope of work is within the shop area including
interface wiring with the Argus panel, and coordination of interface wiring
between the boiler control system and Argus system..
Question:
Who is responsible for the gutter and rain water leader?
Response
- Provision for gutter and rain water leader to ground in greenhouse vender scope.
- Buried storm drain to existing catch basin in parking lot and connection to vertical
RWL at greenhouse provided by Div. 15
