Glenn's U-8 also features a single 1050 Holley carb, a one'off Billet Specialties air cleaner (Glenn owns the place, you know), a 16' inch Uintage Air cooling fan, and special HPG' coated headerc made by Brizio's Dan Hall and Jack Stlatton. Using a special Lakewood bellhousing, a Richmond six-speed transmission was slid in behind the big-block Ford. A hydmulic throw-out bearing was also used, along with a Weber clutch and plessure plate combo. Long prouided the link' age and the whole shebang shifts via a Hurst shiftel. ttr{s The talented Sid ChaYers (he was inducted into the Grand llational Roadster Show's Hall of Fame this yeail has done countless Gals for Brizio, and he did the wolk on Glenn's coupe, too. Brizio's Jim Uickery did the whing in the car, which included dialing in the custom Auto Meter gauges (which are set into a Billet Specialties billet aluminum gauge panell fr-om Ilanny's Rod Shop.
