Before I became school librarian I was
an English III teacher. Many English
tests are subjective, involving compositions
and short answer essays. Being able to use
Scantron forms to grade the objective
portions of the tests gave me the extra
time I needed to evaluate the compositions.
Now, as librarian, I have shown many
teachers how to use the Scantron grade
machine and it saves everyone who uses
it much time. Also, the answer forms
that combine objective answer spaces
with areas to write essay answers makes
it so easy to keep up with papers: no
stapling objective and subjective papers
together. They are already one unit.

AP class gains more

I teach an AP class, so giving multiple
choice questions is one of the ways that
I assess my students. Scantron forms
allow me time to make my lessons more

The machine can only tally a maximum of 999 surveys. To process additional surveys, turn off the machine,
and repeat the same process used for the first batch of surveys.
C. Fill in the “%” bubble only if results are needed in a percentage format.
