Rummage Sale And Flea
Market At United Church
Of Christ In Keene
The Women’s Fellowship of the United Church of
Christ in Keene will hold its annual Fall Rummage
Sale and Flea Market on Saturday, October 8th from 8
a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There will be a $2/bag sale from 1 to
2:30 p.m. The church is located at 23 Central Square
in Keene. There will be fall and winter clothing, ranging from infants’ to large women’s and men’s sizes,
glassware and china, household goods, books and
CDs, toys, and much more. A special room has been
set aside for children’s clothing and toys.
Rummage sales and flea markets abound in New
England and everyone benefits. Donors are able to
clean house, downsize, or move and give their items
to the sale. Shoppers benefit from a large choice of
good quality items at affordable prices. Over the
years, the Women’s Fellowship has found many local
organizations such as thrift shops, animal shelters,
children’s programs, and others who gladly can use
items which haven’t sold during the day’s sale. The
money raised during the sale is given to many worthwhile programs in the church, in the local community,
and internationally.
