protection
The GS BUS Protection system is dedicated to detect
and extinguish fire in engine and pre-heater (webasto) compartment
of the vehicle.
The system works in AUTOMATIC mode, activating extinguisher with or without the
presence of an operator.
The detection system works in ELECTRONIC mode by thermosensible cables
avoiding fouls allarms or accidental activations caused by transistor sensors.
GS-BP System is able to protect both engine and pre-heater compartment
(WEBASTO) in separate mode.
The GS-BP System is able to communicate with the CAN-BUS System of the vehicle
by ICCS-micro CAN module. The ICCS CAN I/O controls the system by a control
panel installed on the dashboard of the driver then the GS-BP System is free of
maintenance.
GS-BP System consists of:
n°1 Main Unit ICCS CAN I/O dedicated to:
• Manage the heat sensors;
• Manage the firefigthing generator;
• Control in AUTOMATIC mode and manage,
by LED on control panel, the system;

n°2 heat sensors installed in the engine
and pre-heater compartement.
n°2 firefighting IPEX 0,5 generators installed
in the engine compartment;

n°1 firefighting GS1P100 generator
installed in the pre-heater compartement;
GS-Bus Protection System advantages
No false alarms; Communication with the CAN BUS system of the vehicle;
there are not pressure tank (subject to periodical revions), no piping passing
into the engine and pre-heater compartment or nozzles (subject to frequent
maintenance); no toxic; eco-friendly.
