You must order your own mail order prescriptions – your Agent may not complete the process for you.
However, we hope you’ll find these instructions easy to understand and use.

Prior to placing your initial order, it is best to call a customer service representative at 1-877-321-2652 to confirm the
price of your prescriptions. To verify pricing, you will need: the medication name, the milligram dosage amount, and
the quantity (number of pills per bottle).

STEP 3: ORDERING YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS

❑You do not have a written prescription(s) from your physician.
If you do not have a written prescription(s) for your maintenance medication from your physician(s), call AdvanceRx at
1-888-216-5022 and select option 1 when prompted. One simple phone call sets up in the AdvanceRx system to receive
your maintenance medications via mail. In addition, the AdvanceRx team will contact your physician and obtain your
maintenance medication prescriptions for you. Please have your doctor’s name, address, phone number and the
names of the medications you need when you call. This toll-free line is available for your convenience 8:00 am to 8:00
pm, EST. You will need to pay by credit card to take advantage of this option.

1.Be sure to write your patient’s prescription(s) for a three-month supply of maintenance
medication. Your patient may need a second short-term prescription to fill at a local
pharmacy, as it can take up to ten days to process and deliver a new prescription.
2.Our goal is for your patient to receive the highest quality maintenance medications at
the lowest price possible. In order to do this, AdvanceRx may occasionally contact
you to obtain authorization to dispense the generic version of a brand name drug. We
encourage you to prescribe generics whenever possible.
3.For prescription refills, you have two options.
• You may call in refill prescriptions to 877-278-0347, press option 1.
•You may fax in refill prescriptions to 877-278-0328. When faxing a prescription, be
sure to include your patient’s UA Partner’s ID # on the refill order.
Remember it may take up to ten days to process and deliver medications.
4.If at any time you have a question concerning this program, help may be reached at
1-877-278-0347.
❑You have obtained a written prescription(s) from your physician.
When obtaining a written prescription, be sure to ask your physician to write your mail order maintenance
medication prescription for a 90-day supply. You may need an additional prescription to fill in the interim at a local
pharmacy, as it can take up to ten days to process a new prescription through the mail order service. To save you
even more on your maintenance medication, be sure to ask your doctor for generics where available.
❑ If you are paying by credit card, call AdvanceRx at 1-888-216-5022 and select option 1 when prompted. One
simple phone call and you will be set up to receive your maintenance medication prescriptions via mail.
❑ If you are paying by check or money order, you will need a Mail Service Order Form which can be downloaded
from www.AdvanceRx.com. If you do not have access to the internet, call 1-877-321-2652 to have a form
mailed to you. Mail the maintenance medication prescriptions with the completed Mail Service Order Form
along with your payment to: AdvanceRx, P.O. Box 830070, Birmingham, AL 35283-0070.
STEP 4: REFILLS
When you need to refill prescription(s), call 1-877-321-2652. Be sure to plan ahead and allow ten days for delivery.
